Free Falling Foxes Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 What the feck are they about? I wish the players would get it together AFTER the kick-off and not before. The last time I remember LCFC doing it with any regularity was when Taylor was in charge - look what happened then! Anyway, I'll answer my own question. I think they have a conversation along the line of this....................... 'Ere we go again, lets get this out the way and get off to some nightlife. Or... 'I can do 0-90 in 6 seconds in my car - can you beat that?' Or... 'Did anyone understand what the boss said, cus I didn't?' Or... 'I've heard that girl in the shop is pregnant'. Or... 'Booked your holidays yet?' Or... 'What are all these people doing here?' Any other suggestions? FFF
sdb Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 it's their way of pretending they care - it's funny in a cruel kind of way
RowlattsFox Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Atleast they don't go around hugging each other like Arsenal and Portsmouth do.
FleckneyFox Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 yeah and why does Kisnorbo always go over to the coach when they start the huddle?
Simi Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 yeah and why does Kisnorbo always go over to the coach when they start the huddle? He does that thing where he stands on the edge of the area as well, on his own.
lavrentis Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 yeah and why does Kisnorbo always go over to the coach when they start the huddle? Gotta be an Aussie thing
Matt Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 At the start of the season when we had all that false hope and optomism and perhaps expectation when I saw them do it I liked it, It made me even more optomistic, as the seasons gone on and you see how little these little overpaid poor excuses of 'football players' care about the club and us i've grown tired of it.
Smiffy Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Okay, I'm going to say it and I fully expect to get slated for it. I haven't been able to watch the team play in quite some time with the exception of the Sky broadcasts. That being said, I fully agree that we have looked lackluster to say the least. However, while these players may or may not give two tosses about Leicester and the future of the club they obviously care about their careers and future. So to suggest that they dont give a shit about winning and putting in good performances is probably inaccurate. They are professionals and they certainly wouldn't have made it this far if they didn't care. I think it is probably more to do with confidence than heart. Anyone who has ever played football knows that a couple of bad performances really brings you down and affects almost every aspect of your game. Challenges, passing, shooting, decision making...everything. Like I said, they are professionals and should be able to overcome a lack of confidence, also. I find it hard to believe that they just could care less. There you go...lets 'ave it!
00rawat Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 He does that thing where he stands on the edge of the area as well, on his own. Yeah what that all about?me and my mate just laugh at him when ever we go watch Leicester play and see Kisnorbo stand on his own at the edge of the penalty box
Asha Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Yeah what that all about?me and my mate just laugh at him when ever we go watch Leicester play and see Kisnorbo stand on his own at the edge of the penalty box He's probably just thinking: So this is where I stand today...this is where I stand today...this is where i stand today....and that *looks up slightly to a part of the pitch not in front of the goal* is where ill conveniantly move to when Darren Carter has the ball.
Fat Ron Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 The Team huddle was a common feature under Levein as well I seem to Recall, Dublin leading. In some cases its a great Team bonding exercise, for City I fear that its just a sign of shear desperation. To have a huddle before a game can work if there is guidance from Senior players or the captain, that is a concept lost on the players at the moment.
Phlashman Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 yeah and why does Kisnorbo always go over to the coach when they start the huddle? Me and my brother think he's picking out his targets, then when he goes to talk to the guy before the hundle they guy is saying stuff to wind him up like "I heard them saying you look like a New Zealander!"
Fox You Forest Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 Atleast they don't go around hugging each other like Arsenal and Portsmouth do. If it meant we would win as many as Arsenal and Portsmouth i wouldnt be against a bit of man love on the pitch.
DB11 Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 I think it looks good. Would be funny if the Ref let the opposition kick off though (all of our players are in their own half so he could do)
Asha Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 I think it looks good.Would be funny if the Ref let the opposition kick off though (all of our players are in their own half so he could do) Funny. We'd be 1-0 down.
DB11 Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 Funny. We'd be 1-0 down. Ye but for comedy value. Even funnier if they missed
Daggers Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 F1 - Group Huddle - In the middle of the stand at 2:59 Be there If not, can someone just be there to hug me just to make sure I don't fall down the steps?

Simi Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 I'm in - if I'm there! Surely you're in no state to attend a football match after your antics yesterday?
Narborough Bod Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 yeah and why does Kisnorbo always go over to the coach when they start the huddle? it was in the prgram Q&A a few weeks ago - it's so that he can focus and visualise his performanec. wish he could visualise in the changing room, focussing on putting studs on rather than trainers so that he didn't fall over at a key moment. one of the first teams to do the huddle was leics at cricket, every time they got a wicket - but they were good in 1996!!
AyewJoking Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Did I miss it or was there no huddle today? (On the pitch, not in F1)
