FleckneyFox Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Simple question sorry people have answered this question a million times but this is an awful position we're in now i cant stay faithful to this tactically inept joker.
FleckneyFox Posted 11 March 2008 Author Posted 11 March 2008 Who would everyone like to see if he went? For me Billy Davies or an escape master until the end of the season i.e. Dowie/Sanchez
STUHILL Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Stay for me, but if he goes, Billy Davies is only man!
Daggers Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 No. Not unless he's taking the players and Mandaric with him.
Monk Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 I see no one who would sign up for our joke of a club if Holloway was sacked. Mandy in that sense has his hands tied. Unless he's comfortable with Taggart until the end of the season then Holloway is here to stay.
FleckneyFox Posted 11 March 2008 Author Posted 11 March 2008 I actually relly think now would be the perfect time for Walshie to come in until the end of the season because his pure passion i think can drive us safe?

Finnegan Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Stay. You don't become a shit manager over night, and what "good" manager is ever going to want to come here? We're all mad if we think a "top" manager is going to come here. Look at how well Plymouth are doing in the league at the moment. The Plymouth fans can bad-mouth "Hollo-words" all they want, it's HIS squad that's up there and it's HIM that built them up to that. I have no idea what the answer is. Maybe we'd get a short-term lift if Holloway left, you always get a honeymoon period when you boot a manager for some reason, but it isn't "the answer." This club needs some fooking stability and I'm STILL in favour of giving it to Holloway. I ain't half shitting it though.

Mort Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 I like and (more importantly) rate Holloway, but if he goes i think you've got to go with either Davies or Allardyce and why on earth they'd want the job i dont know. That said, the problems with this club go beyond managers, it doesn't seem to matter who the manager is, who the owner is, even the players - what ever the case we seem incapable of improving... why!?
Barry Trotter Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Makes me feel sick to think of all the managers we could have got and who we ended up with.

Not one of them can seriously bring an argument to the table of what good sacking Ollie would bring. For them its just sack for the sake of sacking. Imo, the players should take a lot of responsibility, a lot that is. Even the honeymoon period is not guaranteet if Ollie was sacked. Chris Coleman has 2 wins and 3 losses and are still in the shit with us.

Thats all we can look at atm, short term, in the long term it will be better for us to act quickly even if it seems a little hasty.
Mack Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 In answer to this topic's title... Do bears shit in the woods?!
Leicester Rule! Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Bryan Robson. - http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.s.../fivelive.shtml

Walsh is a twat. I want to punch him in the tits for the shit he was spouting tonight. He should have shut the **** up but he keeps wanting to stick his oar in...worse, he is a stupid twat. He was a legend but now, in my eyes, he is nothing more than a joke of an ex-player.
STUHILL Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Bryan Robson. - http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.s.../fivelive.shtml I hope you're joking, couldnt think of a worse manager to come in!

Leicester Rule! Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Well about Byran Robson there talking about him on 606 now . Link http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.s.../fivelive.shtml
Daggers Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 In fairness to him, he was asked by a caller. In fairness to him, Winnie the Poo could out-think him in a House at Poo Corner Thinking Championship.
