Milan Mandaric

OK, I am a bit thick - it comes from living so close to Spaghetti Junction, but will someone please point out to me exactly what Mandaric has done since coming to this club that has in any way benefited us because I am fucked if I can think of anything apart from being able to pay for season tickets over 6 months, interest free?

Anyone? :dunno:

It's true, I don't see what benefit MM has brought to our club. People blame IH - I don't. Mandaric has a lot to answer for. He's made some poor decisions, pre IH. And continues even now to make mistakes when dealing with the media. He just adds extra pressure - and this affects everyones performance on the field. Including the manager's.

Oi, I helped build that.

False hope and a lot of dissapointment. From a pessimist point of view, my half cup brimmeth over.

he's an awful chairman. he got lucky with portsmouth. I think they best scenario if we get relegated is that the 'experienced' players that don't give a shit fook off and we get a young manager in. Maybe Fimmy Floyd's Hasslefreeloansbank, they said he was getting his coaching badges on the BBC. And play the young players. Gradel, Mattock, Chambers, King, Worley, etc. Mattock would probably leave though wouldn't he. And Stearman.

If we do go down, would we be the first club to go down after being bought by a wealthy chairmen with supposedly lots of money to spend?? Most clubs that go down have been financially unstable, or in ruin.

Stopped us going into administration?? :dunno:

Conjecture only - there is no hard evidence that would have happened. As it is if it had we'd have been in League 3 a year earlier than we might anyway but with less debt and a chance to rebuild without a mad man owning the club.

Who's to say that if we get relegated we wont go into admin anyway, it would certainly help MM to lose some of that £11mill debt Leeds style :dunno:

payed for some good players (who haven't performed admittedly)

but we were all pleased with the likes of Oakley, Clem, DJ, Bruno. We'd be in an even bleaker position without him.

I'm not kissing his ass, he's not made being a lcfc fan easy - and i'm sure ollie will be the next of a long line of managers to lose his job under MM, but despite our miserable existence atm, we've at least got a future and some good players (on paper)

No.

Something positive he has achieved - not blind conjecture about something he may have helped us avoid.

But if we get relegated those some good players = debt or a loss of value or both

If we do go down we could make history.

We could be the only team to be relegated with a positive goal difference.

Im guessing thats never happened before?

Any statto's on here? And i don't mean bankrupt :crylaugh:

He's done jack shit apart from spending alot of money and making us look like a circus more and more with each passing day.

I swear we was never gunna melt down if he didn't come, We just had a tight arse Chairman and Chief Exec that wouldnt let Rob Kelly spend any money.

I said all along I'd be happy as long as we improved on last season. This was intended to be an "it's okay, we haven't been promoted/made the play-offs but at least we're not down at the bottom again" precursor.

Bollocks.

It has, obviously, not been perfect but I think he has backed Ollie in getting the players he wanted.... and lets be honest a lot of these players who have not pushed us up the league table as we would have all hoped for, were seen as 'good buys/loans' when they first came. If god forbid we do make the dreaded drop I think that at least we are on a more stable financial footing to make a quick return. If we had made the drop without a Mandaric to provide funds I suspect that it may well have been a long desperate haul to get us back to where we all want to be..... If Mandaric were to pack it all in and take his money elsewhere I dread to think where we might end up

You don't know that, there was never any evidence of that it was just rumour mongering to get the fans behind MMs cheapskate bid disguised as £25 mill :crylaugh: and many a gullible fan sucked it in like a blowjob swallowed it !!!!

So who appointed the management and who appointed the players. There is simple no excuse for a club in our standing (finance & support) to be in the position we're in. The buck stops at the top = MM.

Oh and don't say 'but it's MMs money' because I'll only believe that when someone can prove that it is and it's not a load of loans.

Well he'll want the £11 mill back either that or we'll be left with £11 mill worth of loans, either way it's possible we'll be worse off than if he'd never arrived.

Whether or not we would have gone into administration is irrelevant anyway; The measure of the man is 'the value has he added to the club'.

If we take the drop then (as you have already pointed out somewhere else) the financial ramifications are huge, possibly resulting in a voyage into admin and thus leaving him with the glory of having just delayed the inevitable.

I swallowed the hope that came with his takeover because no one could have foreseen the absolutely ridiculous mess he made with player and managerial appointments. Really, half of the kids that post on here (with the aid of FM08) could have made a better job of it.

The kits were a cock up thanks to Milan, the backroom staff, the managers, the idiot players - there's not one thing that he has touched that hasn't been a total ****ing disaster apart from the great lay-away season ticket plan. He's slagged managers and supporters, while flooding the media with his own spin on events.

My criteria for success for the team was (like Fez) a mid-table finish...not for one second did I envisage this season in its full glory.

No one in this entire sorry situation escapes a portion of blame: not the players, not the managers, not the back room staff...but as the guy who has presided over the whole damn thing, I am finding it impossible to think of a reason why I shouldn't be hammering MM.

I'm serious in my request - someone tell me why we shouldn't be demanding he goes?

And do you have any hard evidence that we were, actually, finacially stable????? I suspect not..... as with all arguments of this kind it is very easy to distort the conjecture to suit one's own veiws

Perhaps we're being run into the ground on purpose.

With the price of scrap these days perhaps the Walkers could go to Frank Berry's (Are they still around?)

With dodgy eastern European business men, who knows? Perhaps they know there's oil under the Walkers, perhaps it's a tax dodge. They could use the land to build a hotel whos bloody roof doesn't blow off! The possibilities are endless!

The clues to a lot of that were there but people just did not want to see it!

Well i think many of you know what i think about this senile fool.

I look back to 12 months ago to what was said and the whole takeover situation happenig at the time. But one year on, and now I feel like i've been raped and been left laying naked on the pavement covered in my own filth. This is the effect Mandaric has had on me so far, and it could get worse still.
