Back in the day i was big into it so much so in fact that my first live music experience was the 'Extreme Music Festival' in Nottingham. Headlined by Less Than Jake. The Ataris, The Vandals and {Spunge} also played. My Top 10 Favourite Pop Punk Bands Of All Time: 1. Less Than Jake (could be argued as a Ska band) 2. Blink 182 3. Something Corporate 4. The Ataris 5. New Found Glory 6. The Vandals 7. Sum 41 (fook you 'In Too Deep' and 'Fat Lip' are classics 8. The Starting Line 9. Senses Fail (have since become an emo/hardcore band) 10. Finch (also have gone all hardcore) Other favourites, The Early November (Till they went all soppy and broke up), Allister, HelloGoodbye (Can be argued to be pop punk but they kinda missed the boat), Midtown, Dashboard Conffesional (Were on Drive Thru then he went all emo), Hidden In Plain View and Home Grown There i've said it the truth is out there. Blink 182's old stuff is hard to beat but a few you haven't mentioned that I highly suggest you check out. Rufio The Movielife Fenix*Tx MXPX (Life in General is a must, classic album) Theres a massive lack of decent pop punk bands nowadays, but have a listen to Set Your Goals. If you want Chris Carrabba before he went all emo with Dashboard listen to Further Seems Forever album The Moon Is Down. Oh and Finch were never pop punk, yeah they had a couple of tracks like Letters To You but on the whole they were always under the post hardcore genre, and they did it better than anyone else on What It Is To Burn. Want more? Just say the word.

Snowbirds and Townies off of The Moon Is Down is a great song as is thier cover of Say It Aint So. Similar bands to FSF you might like are Mae and The Juliana Theory and maybe Waking Ashland. Thier all a bit further from the pop punk banner but are still worth a listen.

If you're not into this band after the first 2 songs I'd be very suprised, the riffs are just fantastic and make up for the whiny vocals! The Juliana Theory are indeed great, Understand This Is A Dream was one of my favourite cds 4-5 years ago and still pop it on now.

Hold My Hand, The Promise, Understatement, Coming Home, and all of their Punk Covers. Quite amazing. As for Sum 41. What can I say other than. IN TOO DEEP.

Good Charlotte can go die in a pool of there own faeces. And Thrice aren't pop punk there far more hardcore than that. The Artist In The Ambulance is an epic song however.
