Ronaldo has been pouting like a spoilt little brat for most of the half. Are Tevez and Rooney playing? They might want to show up in the second half.

Ronaldo has proven he can't cut it on the big stage, he hasn't preformed as well in the games against the big 4 in the Prem and missing a penalty tonight will only give his critics more ammunition. He needs to prove he can cut it in the big matches which he hasn't done so far, before i feel he can deserve winning world player of the year. He will probably win it anyway but doesn't deserve it.

So I think he does deserve World Player of the Year, take somebody alot better to beat him. Whenever Ronaldo got the ball tonight some Barca player tried to take him out.

Barcelona played exactly the same as they always do - lots of pretty passes but toothless up front. What surprised me was that Manchester United were unable to impose themselves on the game at all. It was reminiscent of a fairly typical Spanish league game - except even the likes of Levante, Valladolid and Murcia pass the ball better than Manchester United. I will find it equally fascinating to see whether Manchester United can use home advantage to play like they do in the Premiership because the scoreline could be embarrassing if they are able to reproduce their domestic form.

I mean, Rooney as left midfielder, a defensive one at that, and parking the bus in front of goal. And Man Utd couldn't string 3 passes together. It was a horror show.
