Mark Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 West Brom Win 4/7 Southamption Win 9/2 Draw 12/5 Form Guide - Last 6 games: West Brom W W D W L D Southamption L D W L D L West Brom could secure promotion with a victory over Southampton on Monday night, live on Sky Sports 1. Southampton are also in need of the points as they look to climb out of the bottom three and save themselves from relegation. The Saints dropped into the drop zone after results on Saturday and they will be aiming to spoil the party at The Hawthorns. Despite losing top spot to Stoke at the weekend a win for West Brom will secure them promotion back to the Premier League. West Brom News West Brom defender Paul Robinson is expected to be available despite suffering blurred vision in the win at Norwich last time out. Baggies boss Tony Mowbray has no other injury or suspension worries to contend with as he looks to secure a return to the top flight. Kevin Phillips will lead the attack against his old side hoping to add to his impressive goal tally this season. Southampton news Southampton's defensive duo Gregory Vignal and Alexander Ostlund could return to the Saints squad. The full-backs have been sidelined with hamstring injuries but Ostlund played for the reserves in midweek, while Vignal is also back in training. Makeshift defenders Jermaine Wright and Andrew Surman could revert to midfield if Vignal and Ostlund return. Young winger Nathan Dyer could feature in the squad after recovering from ankle surgery. Andrew Davies is missing for Nigel Pearson's men as he recovers from a fractured cheekbone. :sweating:

AoWW Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I hate the fact that I'm being forced into becoming a temporary West Brom fan for the night.
Koke Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Saints will not win. I put a a tenner on a Southampton victory tonight. And another fiver on a draw. I've cursed Southampton now. I've done my job, so you can relax guys.

Corky Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I wholeheartedly take the blame fully for the Wednesday defeat. Quite right as well, on the train home on Saturday night, I was cursing you, calling you every name under the Sun (someone had placed the aforementioned newspaper on my head )
Mark Posted 28 April 2008 Author Posted 28 April 2008 Southampton have a very decent team but then we find ourselves saying the same. They even have Nathan Dyer & Adam Lallana as subs, not bad at all.
Koke Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 And yet I bet you were out enjoying yourself Saturday night with not a care in the world laughing, boozing and womanising - scum bag! I had a great night out in Loughborough.
