As much as I'd like Walsh or Taggart, they just don't have the experience and if things go wrong it could tarnish their reputation here.

Out of the ones you've listed, I'd go for Davies. I believe he's achieved more and I prefer him to Dowie any day.

who's going to be next following on from disco bob :dunno:

is disco bob going to be our next manager and quickly get the sack

Sven will be looking for work

So's McClaren but I doubt anybody will want him.

Out of the listed managers here though I reckon Dowie or probably more likely Davies will come here should Ollie get pushed.

TBH I think he will be pushed, shoved and kicked out of the door come whatever on Monday.

Allardyce would be brilliant but I'm not sure he'd want a Championship job let alone a League One one (?).

As for all the other likely candidates, they're the sort that might do alright but might not, i.e. just like Holloway. Sometimes he does well, sometimes he's shit. I'd say the same about Dowie and Davies

Well that pretty much rules out Mourinho then

I would want Simon Grayson, he could be tempted even if we are in a lower division, knows how to win promotion from this league, connections to the club. Though I could understand if he didn't want to damage his reputation, both with our fans and for any future employment, by struggling at an unstable club.

Apart from him Billy Davies, don't like the man but I believe he would do well for us.

Paul Ince

Good shout.

I'd have Ince if Ollie was to be pushed out... wouldn't want Davies, Dowie, Taggart or Wash really...

Darren Ferguson!

Up coming talented manager with all the right contacts in the game.

To add to that the ability to find gems for a bargain price.

I'll let my sig do the talking.

Number of promotions from the second tier as champions:

Worthington 1 - 0 other likely candidates.

We're not going to prize Nigie off his nice cushy job with Northern Ireland now... we had our chance

I agree with you there!

In his first season he has taken League 2 by storm!

He could also bring MaClean and Boyd with him
