Mickey O'Neil Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Just a thought aside, If there are only 1000 tickets available for an away match, it will be obviously be season ticket holders (priority 1,2,3) on a 1st-come-1st served basis. If so, the ticket office really need to get their act together after the farce that was Forest. I will be emailing them asking them if they have any CLEAR rules they are going to set for the new season i.e how many tickets per person.

Plus 3 of Doncaster, Carlisle, Leeds and Southend. (Hopefully the first 3) Plus 1 of Stockport, Darlington, Rochdale and Wycombe. (Hopefully Stockport) I like the look of a lot of them, and we could see a few away wins! I'm very confident at the moment, but I'm sure that will change when our best players start to jump.

I want to do every away next season but tbh didn't intend on getting an st, now I will do to the priority. I think the only ones that're under 1000 are Brighton and Northampton) and when you consider how small the crowds we took to some aways this season were, I dunno if its all that big an issue. I like the look of: Oldham, Northampton, Walsall, Swindon, Yeovil, Crewe, MK Dons (practical for me, even if its a guaranteed crap day), Peterborough, Hereford, Cheltenham and Bristol Rovers. Of those, Oldham, Peterborough and Swindon all have good-sized away allocations. Most tickets are still in the £20 area though, which is still a bit steep.

We barely took 500 this season with an allocation of about 1000, why would we take more to a bland new stadium in the middle of nowhere? Darlington would be amusing if we could actually get people bothering because even if they only give a standard allocation its still enough to equal the number of home fans.
