davieG Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Messageboard Unavailable Posted on: Sun 04 May 2008 Leicester City have this evening (Sunday) taken steps to temporarily remove the official message board from its website. This is due to a number of defamatory and offensive personal posts being submitted. The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Master Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 They should have put link up re-directing those abusive posters here.
Thracian Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Messageboard UnavailablePosted on: Sun 04 May 2008 Leicester City have this evening (Sunday) taken steps to temporarily remove the official message board from its website. This is due to a number of defamatory and offensive personal posts being submitted. The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. There's no excuse for personal abuse but feelings are bound to be running high and the sooner the club starts showing they are in the process of putting things right the better. If Mandaric has digested what's been written on here he'll well know what people think and what needs to be done about it. Trouble is he gets so much wrong and just seems to go his own misguided way, presumably for reasons of his own because I cannot see how the reasons would be connected with bringing success to our club. People at other clubs would love to depth of under 23's we have at our club yet he, just like his manager, seems to believe the way forward lies with fast-fading former heroes and speculative foreigners. Mandaric needs to start by correcting his own mistakes and getting a manager willing and capable to use what he's got for a start before forever searching around for this new player and that new player. Relegation is always a disgrace but for anyone to get relegated and steer our club to its lowest level ever with our staff, our resources and our set-up almost defies explanation.
The People's Hero Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 They should have put link up re-directing those abusive posters here. Yes, yes they should have done.

Monk Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 What was so great about it? FT and TB are independant so you can post what you like within reason. FT interface is better and the community is far more varied.

MC Prussian Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 It was rubbish anyway Ah, the good old times when you had to go back manually to search for older threads... Plus, the company on there got annoyingly imbecile when we got relegated from the Premiership in 2004. Thinking of it, I might sneak back later on tonight only to dwell in fond memories.

Houdini Logic Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Does anyone Know why the message boards on the www.lcfc.co.uk site isnt working??? Or why they have been removed They've been suspended since we were relegated. The OS said it was something to do with the amount of abuse

Midlandsfox Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 What did they want supporters to do congratulate them for last season????? I think messages boards are freedom of speech, if the players were getting abuse then no more than they deserved, the club shouldnt run message boards unless they expect to take critism

I think messages boards are freedom of speech, if the players were getting abuse then no more than they deserved, the club shouldnt run message boards unless they expect to take critism Of course!.... they should be congratulated, the majority of players did really well...just think about it! Working less than 38 hours a week Probably on a little bit above the minimum wage. First class travel everywhere Get to see all City's matches Don't get sacked if you "can't be bothered"..because the boss will! Fail and move on with no loss of pay and maybe even improve yourself! What is there to criticise?
