Ian Holloway's future as Leicester manager could be decided at a meeting with owner Milan Mandaric on Monday.

The Foxes were relegated to League One last weekend and Mandaric has been tipped by many to wield the axe.

Holloway told BBC Sport: "Milan's been in America with his family but I'm going to see him on Monday.

"The papers have been speculating about my future...but there's bigger things at stake than Ian Holloway. It's not about my future, it's about Leicester."

The Foxes dropped into the third tier of English football for the first time in their history after drawing 0-0 at Stoke on Sunday, as other results went against them.

get him out

I thought Mandaric was meeting Worzel yesterday? Either way, Holloway has re-iterated that he's a dead man walking. I'd actually be amazed if Holloway could look our fans in the eye and say he's the right man for the job to take us forward, I don't think he could do that. He know's the damage is done.

With so many forms of instant communication these days why is he waiting until Monday?

Maybe milan is waiting to see if he can get anyone better?

If not better the devil you know?

Who's Worzel? Are we talking about the scarecrow?

what's happening? I feel so out of touch with this football club.

But I like scarecrow strategy.

We are talking about a bald scarecrow from Bristol.

If Holloway knows he's going to get the sack he should just walk imo. At least Warnock has the decency to resign last season after Sheffield United went down. Will Holloway do the same?

Why? :dunno:

If I thought I could still do a job and I had a contract - I'd not walk away from the sack and a pay-off.

I don't get the feeling he does think that, if he does then he's fookin deluded.

We could be.

Do they have scarecrows in Harvester restaurants in Bristol? That’s the main reason I go there to eat. I love sitting near the scarecrow, he’s become a friend to me. I also like the salad bar, mainly for the bacon bits covered with thousand island dressing.

The first ever Harvester was built in Bristol.

Really??? Well I never.

That’s quite amazing when you think about it.

I would imagine our Ian has indulged himself on the odd combine or two

I've heard he's quite partial for the odd Chicken & Bacon Stack when he's off duty.

Do you think he’s cheeky enough to return to the salad bar for seconds?

I could really go for a butterfly chicken right now.

I thought keeping us up WAS the main point of the job for Holloway this season.

I can't see him being kept to be honest. I hope Milan has someone lined up, because he needs to be given as much time to prepare as possible and the club needs to know what's going on, not being left as it is at the minute.

Naah, he'd be a coward and send his dogs body Barry Hayles up there for him instead, who would somehow fail to successfully get a bread roll out of the basket and in to the bowl for Ian.

Doesn't this kinda indicate he's staying?

Why would Milan wait until Monday? Makes no sense.

Either he's staying or Milan still isn't sure.

Think he may be waiting to see if his main targer wants the job and if not ollie will stay?
