I hope Mandy will stick with him.

Sacking Allen last season probably cost us relegation, don't make the same mistake again Mandy!

Or perhaps Mandy is revealing he will stick with him and offer him £50m transfer kitty :P

3 lots of delusion in 1 posting.

Impressive

He sounds completely out of it in that interview. :ermm:

Reminds me of a young Rob Kelly who was being interviewed after his defeat to Plymouth... sounded pathetic, sounded like a dead man walking.

His tone suggests he's already got both feet out the door, and just needs a little encouragement (money) to get him off the doorstep.

There's probably a legal agreement being drawn up (similar to the one with Allen) before his "mutual consent" departure is announced.

The last thing Mandaric will want is the manager spilling the beans on him in a new book.

I think he will stay.

There are no viable options imo that would necessarily make anything a whole lot better.

For me it's a case of "MM, the players and Ollie got us here (in that order), they can damn well get us out of it".

I just want a manager who isn't going to make fucking retarded decisions. Is it so much to ask for? That we'll get a manager that won't splash money on lazy, old, disinterested players? That will give the kids a chance? Will sit down and think out logical tactics that provide room for both scoring and defending? That will play players in their natural positions? If Ollie can do all those things then fair enough, keep him, but on his current showing he can't.

Because we don't want him saying: 'Milan told me once he thought I could manage in the Premiership.'

Hopefully after todyas'announcement' if there is on,we can all either get used to another manager.

BUT if Ollie does get the thumbs up to carry on,we should all support the decision and give him our upmost support.

The last thing we need is to start slagging the manager off before the tears of the season finale have even dried out!!!

If he's in-Lets give him some love!

still want the cvnt out though! :P

Totally agree, if he stays and you wanted him out just shut up until a fair few games into the season. The last we need is another situation like Martin Allen and have to have new managers try to make it with players who aren't theirs.

I think Ollie should stay, we aren't going to get any better.

I had quite enough with the misguided clamour to get Kaebi into the team.

My biggest regret today is that the meeting's at 4-00pm instead of 9.00am.

As for your proposed censorship, no-one's tried to stop you bleating in his favour.

Despite not reading one word of professional justification for his remaining from you or anyone else.

You've got to allow Holloway to get a few drinks in before. It's only fair :)

Milan will wait to make Ollie decision

by Bill Anderson

Ian Holloway's fate as Leicester City manager will not be decided at today's top-level meeting.

Instead, City chairman Milan Mandaric will listen to what Holloway has to say and then decide the best way forward in due course.

But it will not be a quick decision as City begin their recovery process in the wake of the club's unprecedented slide into the third level of the game.

Holloway, below, has acknowledged that his job must be under threat after relegation, and recently stated that his future would hinge on today's meeting.

But Mandaric said: "What happens next is probably the most important decision I have to make, and I will be taking some time over it.

"And it is not about individuals but for the overall good of the club.

"This (relegation) should never have happened, and we will discuss all the reasons for it before making any hasty moves.

"I want to take some time to organise myself, look at the whole structure of the club which, like a broken record, I have said many times was built on sand. When I came here I thought I could do so much, spend money on players and back the manager, but it just has not worked out and we have to find the reasons for it and then move on.

"This has been a bad time for everyone at the club but I think we can come out of this stronger from the experience, if we get things right from now on.

"That is why I feel it is a very delicate situation and I will need a bit of time to think about it."

The lack of stability last season, with three different managers, did not help the cause but Mandaric, who has said he does not like chopping and changing bosses too much, was unfortunate that Gary Megson decided to leave for the Premier League.

As Megson raised Bolton from bottom spot to safety, it is a safe bet he could have secured City's place in the Championship.

The chairman will listen to Holloway's explanation of where it all went wrong and, more importantly, how the slump can be turned around in terms of instant promotion.

The squad will be much changed. Hungarian wingers Zsolt Laczko and Gabor Bori have ended their loan spells, as have Lee Hendrie, Jamie Clapham and keeper Ben Alnwick.

I think that just means that haven't got anyone else lined up yet and would vindicate the Disco Kid's take on things :P

Although I don't want this to drag on, I agree with Mandaric. This is decision that should not be taken lightly, but if there is any un-certainty then surely that points towards Holloway staying? :S

I think so,

Unless Holloay speaks himself out of a job in the meeting then he will be here next season.

But not in an overly confidently manner.
