Bikers laugh at the word 'legal'.

See?

Hmmm, I can see a falling out in Chez Aitch then........

claustrophobic in a crash helmet? What about an open-faced lid or even a flip-up version?

it was a flip up helmet that she hated.

True story.

This:

type was what I was talking about. Maybe with a visor.

I am now a member of HOG, apparently. Thanks Harley marketing department.

Consequently, I now have to assume all of the attitudes and opinions of the bastard love-child of Thracian and maddog.

Dang.

I think I've finally made a decision.

That video is pretty real life.

There are so many pricks on bikes that think the speed limit doesn't apply to them because they are on two wheels. Some of the crashes people have must be horrific

I sold my VFR 800 last week :(

I had to pack up motorcycling as it was only a matter of time before somebody knocked me off and with a wife, four children and a football team to support, I'm sticking to the car or public transport from now on.

A bit gutted really as I really enjoyed riding but at the end of the day, there's just too many people on the roads who don't pay enough attention to their surroundings. I can be as safe and sensible as I possibly can and try and anticipate potential accidents but there always seem to be someone in a car, truck, bus whatever prepared to use their mobile, check their make-up, gel their hair, chat with passengers, ignore lane discipline on roundabouts etc rather than concentrate on driving.

Yep, motorbikes are brilliant!

Planning on driving along the M4 tomorrow?

Intending on heading to Swindon/Wootton Bassett?

Don't! There's 10,000+ bikes going to be there.

A friend of mine will be there, he reckons 15,000.

10K bikes, 5K pillions - and the mother of all traffic jams.

Everyone had a great time though, except for people in cars and who gives a stuff about them? :dunno:

Over £100,000 raised for Afghan Heroes. :appl:

Excellent work raising the money but I fail to see the fun in joining a massive motorbike traffic jam, I can't get any enthusiasm together to join any large ride outs, I got my bike to enjoy more freedom on the road. Probably just me being an old git as usual.

For some a bike is a tool - for others it's more a way of life. It's all good.

Cool Bike Munzie, you could do with getting that over here for a blast across the mountain. My money is on Cameron Donald taking victory on his at this years TT.

To fast for me though!

I've always fancied taking a trip to the TT but never got round to it. I think it must take some planning given it's popularity. The place must be at bursting point when it's on.

I'll just have to settle for the back roads around Northants and Leicestershire for the time being. If you squint a bit, some of the roads around Rutland resemble the IOM.
