I thought exactly the same as you, however my wife has since talked me into renewing mine.

Something that no one has yet mentioned is, how about waiting for the first half of the season, only going when the club are selling the cheapo tickets.

(Suspect this could be most matches!!)

If we see improved performances from the team then buy a half season ticket.

Some of my friends are doing this, at the moment I can't say I blame them.
