isaidno Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Hereford United have released four players including striker Trevor Benjamin who is now looking for his 17th league club. Goalkeeper Ryan Esson, 28, midfielder Jordan Fitzpatrick, 19, and striker Marcus Palmer, 20, have also been told their futures lie elsewhere. Benjamin will be moving on after only one season at Hereford. The 29-year-old played 34 league games and scored 10 goals during his Edgar Street stay.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 He's played for nearly a whole league's worth of clubs and he's not even 30 yet. I hope he stays in the league.
Matt Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Hereford United have released four players including striker Trevor Benjamin who is now looking for his 17th league club. If he come back to us would it be classed as him 17th club? I honestly would have him back, TBH I never really disliked or slagged him off when he was here.
Ultra Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 If he come back to us would it be classed as him 17th club? I honestly would have him back, TBH I never really disliked or slagged him off when he was here. There are reasons why he doesn't settle at clubs for very long... We've already made large contributions to his pension fund. There's no reason to make any more.
Ultra Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Why don't you also start a petition to bring back Peter Taylor while you're at it?
MC Prussian Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Why don't you also start a petition to bring back Peter Taylor while you're at it? Looking at his profile, Benjamin's goalscoring record is even worse than Fryatt's. Can we have him on loan first? And Peter Taylor didn't get us relegated.
Corky Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Looking at his profile, Benjamin's goalscoring record is even worse than Fryatt's.Can we have him on loan first? And Peter Taylor didn't get us relegated. And you seriously think we'd have survived if he'd stayed do you?
MC Prussian Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 And you seriously think we'd have survived if he'd stayed do you? Spot the irony. Peter Taylor is where he belongs.
Joe. Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Tervor Benjamin > Matty Fryatt Actually Trevor Benjamin > Everybody. The Boss rules.
Asha Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 In all seriousness, we shouldn't take him back. Herefore have released him why? Because they don't feel he'll be worth his wages in League One. He hardly set League Two alight anyway.
General Smuts Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Tervor Benjamin > Matty FryattActually Trevor Benjamin > Everybody. The Boss rules. I would. All night long.
Samilktray Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Tervor Benjamin > Matty FryattActually Trevor Benjamin > Everybody. The Boss rules. Ive sat in a box at the Walkers with him. You now want to touch me.
MC Prussian Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Ive sat in a box at the Walkers with him.You now want to touch me. I suppose you haven't taken a shower for quite a while now, have you? Smelly bastard, I envy you.
Samilktray Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 I suppose you haven't taken a shower for quite a while now, have you?Smelly bastard, I envy you. Its close to 18 months now.
Ultra Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Trevor Benjamin > Matty Fryatt True. Doesn't mean he's any good, though.
Joe. Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 True.Doesn't mean he's any good, though. If god has a name, it's quite clearly going to be Trevor. That says enough.
lildave3 Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 If god has a name, it's quite clearly going to be Trevor. That says enough. No, it's clearly going to be Benjamin.
