Some days are diamonds.

Just hours after I was offered my season ticket as a present I find I can accept it.

Doesn't suggest the ticket sales were going too well though does it?

Now we need an inspiring manager who can genuinely rally the players around him and get a few doubtfuls back in the fold.

Someone who will then set about presenting the sort of football this club and our fans deserve.

and would said manager's name start with a Th.....?

Thracian start the wave, Thracian Thracian start the wave ......

If it's Dowie, who's going to renew then?

Wow, talk about out of the blue.

Thank Fuk for that, Should of got the boot after the Hull City defeat, there was noway on earth this club was going to reward that RAT with another season here.

I think it is very obvious that we have someone lined up as a replacment hence the decision over a week earlier than stated by MM.

Grayson would be a good shout,

But "Guru ibbosuk" thinks it will be the Mighty Atom BD.... :yesyes:

It was inevitable.

Cue two weeks worth of potential manager speculation.

I think it will be Ray Clemence, Diego Maradona or the cast of Spinal Tap.

A chance to start afresh.

Like we did after Peter Taylor.

Like we had after Levein.

Like we had after Kelly.

Like we had after Worthington.

Like we had after Mad Dog

Like we had after Ginger Mourhino.

I really really really hope MM gets it fooking right this time. We can't afford to keep having more managers than my ex-wife has had blokes....

Well the sooner they appoint Thracian, he leads us to European glory and gets poached by Real Madrid, the better for all of us.

Not like you to get ahead of yourself.

There's Milan saying we could still hit the Premiership within two years.

You talking about European football.

And me just hoping we can start playing again with some self-respect and challenging at the right end of a table.

Great... now who the fook's gonna come here!!! Some crappy manager who knows jack sh*t about management who is going to drag us down even further.

Would LOVE to be proven wrong though and see someone good come in... could someone make a REALISTIC poll with possible managers so that we could see the options?

Well I was of course being completely serious.

Grayson with Walsh as No 2 anyone??

For what reason and In what way would Walsh even merit consideration?

As I've said countless times, if Walsh wants to manage Leicester he should get some low level experience in coaching/managing first.

hmmm... How do i feel?... I am sorry it didn't work out for ollie, but i suppose it was going to happen... I am not going to even get into the next manager debate, im fed up with this!! Another man, another set of ambitions, another failure!!

I'm surprised it's taken two weeks but without an announcement that he was staying this was always going to be the case.

I just hope to Christ that Mandaric knows what he's doing with this. Given that Paul Lambert resigned two days ago, I'm expecting a quick appointment. Or maybe a surprise for us all with Mandaric going up against Romanov at Hearts for a certain Mr McGhee's signature

I can't see it being Ince. He's worked hard to get where he is With Mk Dons, he's in the same division as us, and isn't going to want to swap a job, where he is comfortable with, for one where is he constantly under pressure.
