I'm not fussed either way with this news, I just don't see us getting anyone better.

Just live in fear!

Was on SSN a couple of days ago saying he was off to FC Twente. lol

I would've liked Holloway to have done a better job for him, he is a nice man. However, he was always going to have it on his shoulders that he took us down so I guess he was always going to go really.

Overall, though I am pleased as I think it's best for the club.

Shocked.

From his Tesco shop I thought he was here for a while.

Jamie Redknapp for me.

I would actually start supporting Forest if Jamie Redknapp became our new manager.

I'd like to see Jim Gannon here although I don't think we can attract just any decent young lower-league manager these days. They will stop bothering with us soon.

Hopefully the beginning of a monster clearout.

Good luck to Ollie, I got the feeling he did his best and hopefully he's back in football soon.

I'm saddened that we're back on this marry-go-round yet again. I've seen nothing in Mandaric to say that he has the first idea about who to appoint next and I'm beginning to suspect that no half-credible candidate for the job thinks any differently.

If we end up with someone decent who understands the task in front of them and succeeds in it I'll be amazed.

I suspect we have just become the new Nottingham Forest in Division 3.

Obv the man he wanted has said yes so would've thought we'd know soon.

Even though i thought he had to go, i am a little saddened, i like the guy, just didn't get it right on the pitch and thats his job.

A big part of me is gutted.

It has to be Ince now, bring him here!

The best money spent for next season would be Mk Dons compensation to see Paul Ince released as manager! That would at least soften the blow of holloway going as there aren`t many id take out there, I like Grayson he has done well at blackpool on a shoestring budget but hopefully now with mandaric going on about how he wouldnt make a decision bout management until the 2nd week in june we can get on with it and get The new manager in A.s.a.p as each day that goes by is a day fall more and more behind our competition.

It was inevitable.

Cue two weeks worth of potential manager speculation.

I think it will be Ray Clemence, Diego Maradona or the cast of Spinal Tap.

Spinal Tap is good, they make me laff, ian ollaway dunt.

I can't see it being Ince. He's worked hard to get where he is With Mk Dons, he's in the same division as us, and isn't going to want to swap a job, where he is comfortable with, for one where is he constantly under pressure.

I'd felt that too until I went past the MK Dons ground last night and my first thought was that if Leicester did make the right offer he might find it very tempting. However, that's perhaps just me feeling optimistic.

There are other contenders though and it's important Mandaric gets the right man this time. Someone who will be positive instead of cautious, who will develop our young players instead of insulting them and who will get everyone to perform with a bit of confidence and panache.

Some people were bemoaning the fact that Milan went for someone without a big enough CV on SSN... for God's sake... who the HELL are we going to get in now who has achieved more than him!?!?!?!!

I wondered what it would take to drag you back out of hiding and into posting again. :D

Jose Mourinho.

I'm disappointed it didn't work out for him here because I genuinely believed he was the right man.

Does he deserve to go? Probably. But at the same time I wonder whether he deserves a second chance. However there's a large part of me that isn't disappointed with this at all. He made some extremely odd and costly decisions whilst here and he probably deserves it.

I just hope we finally find a manager now who looks for the right players and has the right attitude that will lead us forward finally instead of backwards.

Ebbsfleet or similar?

Exactly how many of those young players do you think will be thinking to themselves that the constant firing of managers at the club is a joke and offers them no stability within which to progress their careers? If I was said young player, I would be on the phone to my agent now.

Who would you appoint Thrac? Realistically....

You know the answer to that. I couldn't get all the Ritalin I needed.

This could and should have happened months ago.

It's the first step in the club's revival, but how much further we go, and how quickly, depends on very much on who comes in.

Mandaric cannot afford to get another appointment wrong.
