Holloway GONE!

Gutted we have lost another manager.

If I was a player for our team I`d be looking for the exit signs now. Why can`t we be stable for a while.

IH will be back in a championship role before we get there 4 sure.

Whoever we get will need to settle in. MM will sack players in the meantime keepsing his hold on the club.

What has happened to us??? MO`N battled the boardroom to avoid this and now we are in league 3.

This is bad news for us.

As for those who didn`t want Megson as our manager, well remember he beat Forest giving them a goal led, he beat Villa away and almost became the forst english team to beat Chelsea at home in 3 years!

FOR ONCE IN THE LAST 6 YEARS LETS GET BEHIND THE MANAGER NOT THE CRAP BEHIND HIM. OUR CLUB HAS ALWAYS SUCCEEDED IN THIS ATTITUDE.

LEICESTER TILL WE DIE!!!

Megson wasn't in charge for Chelsea.

Hands up . I couldn`t keep up with all the changes, sorry.

Would you take GM now?

Would he have kept us up?

Would he have kept us up? Probably.

Would I take him now? Absolutely not.

For me, it has to be one of: Joe Royle

Simon Grayson

Paul Ince

Mike Newell

Dave Penney

Tony Adams for a risky candidate.

Gary megson did well for bolton, but he was turning us into draw specialists! so hard to say if he would have kept us up? arguably might have been better in the transfer market but then whats done is done! lets look forward....

Joe Royle is the person I'd choose.

There are others I'd quite accept.

Ince obviously but that has to be a long shot.

Simon Grayson knows our club and has showed he can get out of our division and survive in the Championship on limited resources.

Mike Newell and Dave Penney might be worthwhile gambles.

Their the only managers I would like to take over

I have a feeling its gonna be Reid for some reason. I just think MM is mental.

Holloway got exactly what he deserved.

If our club starts accepting that sort of performance from a manager we might as well go and get one from Morrisons at a much lower outlay.

The reasons that brought about such an appalling record were many, well documented and compelling.

You don't go bad mouthing your players when you arrive or blaming everyone but yourself because changing tack later won't work as IH found out.

I liked the United coach's comments about Ferguson when he talked about how much he backed his players and staff even when things went drastically wrong.

Ferguson is a giant in that way. His psychological man management is superb.

Holloway didn't get to first base.

So maybe we should be looking at his son Darren ferguson as a possible future leicester manager then?

As for most people on here, the timing does strike me a bit odd.

First, the announcement that we'd hear about a decision in June, now this.

Not too surprised about the move itself, Holloway was one of the main reasons for our downfall. His inept tactics, the amount of talentless players he got in and his constant post- and pre-match excuses have led us down to League One.

Milan, if you're that quick:

Now for some massive player sale!!!

(I'm not going to mention a new manager - too early and too much of a gamble)

Yeah there has been alot of changes!

No for GM now

Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Well the sooner they appoint Thracian, he leads us to European glory and gets poached by Real Madrid, the better for all of us.

I'm pleased it's all resolved now.

I got to the stage where I wasn't bothered either way whether he stayed or not. It's probably for the best given the reaction from the fans - Holloway would have had the fans on his back as soon as the first negative result came about.

I did want to keep on Holloway initially, but I think given the nature of Mandaric, that wasn't likely to happen. A lot of us argued to death on the pros and cons of Holloway, so there's no need to go back over old ground.

Let's move on and hope Mandaric actually makes a good decision for once.

Promising manager, no question. Not sure I'd appoint a guy who'd been convicted of assaulting his estranged wife though. I don't know the circumstances - my idea of common assault might be different from a court's - but assaulting women was always a definite "no" during my upbringing.

However, top scoring in the League with 84 goals and 10 defeats in 46 matches to earn promotion is no mean feat and might persuade me to forgive a few sins.

Your job ultimately was to keep your team in the Championship and as team leader this was your responsibility. You failed to do so, and therefore,

With regret Ian
