lookwhaticando Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Well aren't you just the perkiest poster on FoxesTalk ever since Worthington got mentioned.
Guest Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Until I return to the UK, anyway. There's always one.....
Corky Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Anyone for anymore Southend facts? Anybody? Southend United don't play in Southend, they play in Prittlewell. It has the largest sea in the world. Ricky Otto played for them (that was for TPH)
Nationwider Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 At 1.3 billion citizens, Southend is the world's most populous country.
Corky Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Southend-on-sea was the birthplace of Adolf Hitler. Now I know when someone from Southend wants a fight they say "I'm gonna Hitler in a minute me old china".
Daggers Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Wow! And there was me thinking I knew all the facts about Southend. Just goes to show - you live and learn* *wise saying does not apply to Serb-American owners of Midlands-based football clubs
lookwhaticando Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 There's always one..... I'm usually too late into a thread to use an obvious gag... I wasn't going to let this one pass me by.
Katy Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Humpf my birthday is usually football free, there was one play off game when notts County beat BHA at Wembley to go into the ex division 1 and that has been it. Apart from International games but they don't count. Bring on the Posh! I'm bloody training that blighter!
AoWW Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Until I return to the UK, anyway. I thought these looked about your size. They're eagerly awaiting your return.

Guest lcfc80 Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 for me its Millwall at home. When ever they play they always bring a good set of fans here and no matter what trouble the club goes through (there is a suspision amongst wall fans that the powers that be are trying to wind the club down) they always bring vocal proper supporters (even if they do have the odd nobhead). I would of said the same about leeds a few years ago if it wasn't for the few idiots singing turkey songs in the top corner at them . that fixture will have a bitter edge to it now
lildave3 Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Was Leeds away, but not too pleased about that falling on Boxing Day.
SamL Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Was Leeds away, but not too pleased about that falling on Boxing Day. Aye, I was hoping for a home game on Boxing Day that would be easily accessible as there's not a lot of transport in use that day. The train is out of the question then. Looking like car/FoxTravel for me already. The fixtures haven't been out a day yet and I'm already planning next season.

That's good though, gives us something to focus on after all the shite we've had to contend with. I really fancy Leeds on Boxing Day, would have to be Fox Travel for me I think
C-man Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Was Leeds away, but not too pleased about that falling on Boxing Day. Yeah but boxing day games are always well attended. I'm sure there will be a football special from Leicester to Leeds?
Tilley Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Was Leeds away, but not too pleased about that falling on Boxing Day. I think this is a great fixture imo.
