Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 What's the funniest you've ever noticed? Mine are both by the same person who is a member of this forum but will remain nameless... Firstly there was the ongoing saga of his washing machine which he updated every five minutes to inform everyone of the latest developments. I think Channel 4 executives were negotiating for the rights to broadcast it live during the day on E4. Then recently he announced he was boycotting Tescos because their new car park layout. Anyway, these things shouldn't go unappreciated, I laughed out loud at both and got looked at funny at work.
Uncle Albert Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Erm... Tevez usually has a decent status, usually brings a smile to my face.
syston_fox Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Tevez's was the best that I saw: "I'd rather freeze my cock off at Aldershot away in the St Johnstones Paint Trophy then celebrate in front of the TV" or something along those lines.
Stevosevic Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 ...hates trains even more after a little dog pissed on my bag!
Nationwider Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 My favourite from today was - "...is about to consume chicken". I just have this nice image in my head of that person swallowing a whole, live chicken. Preferably a cartoon chicken too.

TPH will be like a dog with a bone with this one, you'll be a marked man... almost as bad as the way he constantly bangs on about meeting up with Ric Flair despite absolutely no effort on Monsieur Flair's part whatsoever to make it happen.

'Flair and 'Wider are both chomping at the bit to meet us. Literally chomping. *chomp chomp* Like that - see?

Katy Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 I've seen loads of funny type ones but cannot remember any of them (must be my age) I really need the shunwider on my facebook, I really really do

I reckon, secretly, they monitor our whereabouts in order to stay just out of our line of sight at all times and thus ensure we never bump into them accidentally. I'm assuming, of course, that Ric Flair looks like Ric Flair and Nationwider looks like... err... Brian Little. Chomps were a staple diet of mine in the late 90s. 10p from the canteen. You always had 10p over from the 90p you'd spent on potato waffles and chips (this was before carbohydrates were invented).

The Chomp became chocolate of choice when the Curly Wurly (outrageously) became 20p. Oh and the 'Wideman looks like Ron Burgundy. Or perhaps Steve Coogan/Alan Partridge/both/neither/one of the two.

Katy Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 saw him down leicester train station, wearing a pink shirt, before sheff wed, or someone. he's not all that. Oh are yeah, he knew it was us n all because he clocked our much publicised Jwad tshirts. They were bloody good quality they were. Plus it was salmon pink
The People's Hero Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 what about Freddo or Fudge? You must be a bit younger than me with the Freddo shout. In my time, the other cheap options were frosties (sweets), fudge (as you identified) or an 'animal bar' which had something to do with the WWF which wasn't wrestling homoerotica.
Unabomber Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 Probably Louis Dodds is..Growing potatoes out of his nose.
stez Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 I'm going to start making more effort with my statiiiiii until Fez likes me again. yes, please do. i'm bored with my diet of '....is tired' or '....is wondering if she'll talk to me again' and the like

We had an ice cream van that sold sweets instead of ice cream. They did a roaring trade in Freddos and those really hard, fruity sweets with the colourful wrappers. What were they called? Began with an M I think. They tasted like death by sugar. Just seen on the other page... Frosties! I think that was them, yeah.

Flynny Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 There's a guy on mine who I've only met the once who seems really suicidal. As in, REALLY suicidal, explicitly so, not just a bit depressive. If I actually knew him I'd be doing something about it.

I'm think Spangles which I think outrageously became Jolly Ranchers at some point. I could really go for a chomp right now. I notice Wideski and Flairmush are both keeping their cards close to their chest with regards to their openness to a meeting of minds, of sexual auras or indeed solely a meeting of the more usual type.
