Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I was hearing on the radio recently how people in general don't trust people with beards and that if you want to get ahead in life (get a job, promotion, elected) then you need to get rid of the the chin rug It does seem to work. I've had almost every style of beard going (cept a big bushy one cos I haven't quite that much dedication to looking like Grizzley Adams), but always shave it off for interviews and everytime I've had an interview clean shaven I've got the job - bearded no. Well it's true. I mean... would you trust these guys?... HAIRY AND SCARY! or CLEAN SHAVEN HAVEN! Now where's me razor!
Daggers Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 There you go - more trustworthy men. Oh, Manson is only wearing a false stick-on beard, it's not real...he's a nice man really.
Mr Happy Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I have just got rid of 6 months worth of beardage growth, I was trying to aim for something like what these fellows have
Zingari Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 before razors were invented you could trust no man ; so the razor blade has got to be the singularly best invention ever as most men have become trustworthy simply by shaving hang on there's a flaw in this logic ........surely you can trust men who shave even less than those who do because they are trying to disguise the fact that they have beards i'm all confused now i don't trust postmen those dogs who bite them can't all be wrong
Daggers Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I got rid of my bush this morning - I need to look good on TV at the cricket tomorrow...it'll be the only classic City top at Trent Bridge

C-man Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I'm growing a beard, but only because my blades have ran out and I can't be arsed to get some new ones.
Alexikokopops Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 That's a man? I don't know what you're talking about, that's possibly the manliest hair ever.
lildave3 Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 What about this bear? Awful. Horrifying. Sickening. And that's just the thing on your left arm.
Alexikokopops Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Awful. Horrifying. Sickening. And that's just the thing on your left arm. That was the first night I got with my girlfriend, the look obviously works. Give it a go. I should definitely give relationship advice.
