Ric Flair Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Here's my article on Max Gradel's talents and exploits of 2007/08 on foxes online. Maxi
Vardinhio Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Nice read, I hope he lives up to his billing and plays without fear though. As fans sometimes I feel we create a sense of expectation at home which stiffles players like him into taking the risks that sometimes need to be taken to score. But we hall wait and see!
JoeyB Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Im all aboard that band wagon now. I hope he doesn't turn out to be like every other leicester have had, come with high expectations, gone away being poor, really looking forward to this guy now

davieG Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Excellent work Ric full of flair and made into an interesting read - even the new arses
The Stig Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Let hope and pray he's the new Joe Mattock as appose to the new Chris O Grady.
Bryn Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Send this to every Leicester related media outlet you can think of, including the OS (They wouldn't ever use it, they're a set of bellends, but send it anyway). We must ensure that whoever our new manager is, he does not ignore this player.
Joe. Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Nicely done Ric, enjoyable read there. I'm desperate to see Max in a Leicester shirt next season just like so many others but I just hope we're not going to be disappointed. I keep telling myself there's no way he can't make the side with performances such as last season but god knows at this club. And then there's the possibility of other clubs moving in, something which is very likely. I just hop the new manager takes initiative and sees what we have with Gradel. There's a lot of hope pinned on him for next season.
Houdini Logic Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 I wouldn't dismiss Hayes - seen him a lot for the reserves (before he was loaned out), i think the boy's got a lot to offer
Lillehamring Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 when the time comes, you should e.mail that to the new manager!
Jonezy Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 We sure know how to put pressure on a young lad's shoulders. Lets hope he can live up to the hype. I'm aware he played quite a stunning season at Bournemouth, and of course I'm hoping he can replicate his form here, but there is some pretty high expectations to this kid already. Anyway, if he leaves this summer, I'm gonna be massively furious..... Please lets have a Gradel show!

We must ensure that whoever our new manager is, he does not ignore this player. If the manager is any good he will be the best one to judge whether a player is good enough to play or not. Judging by Grade's track record last year he will be good enough, but you can't be completly sure.
knowitall Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Are you Max's agent? He likes to be called MAX!! Not Maxi Rob Kelly kept saying to Max that he would play him. Then went and brought in Glombard. Remember him? Holloway did want him back half way through his second spell at Bournemouth. However we did not have call back clause so Bournemouth refused to let him return. Has for putting pressure on him. No worries Max will take it. Yes Max is a bit cocky, but then again all great players are? Max was playing for the academy when he tried a trick and the other team nicked the ball and nearly scorced. At this point Steve Beaglehole told me " At half time I am going to give Max a right telling off" (changed some words). Two minutes later Max tries again and fails. This time the other team nick the ball, cross it and score. Steve is now really mad. "I'll give him a right telling off. No wait I will sub him and hope he learns." Straight from kick off Max goes pass three players and smashes it in to the net. Steve thinks. "Oh pooh let Max get on with whatever he wants." Steve said nothing to Max and just let him play. If the manager is any good he will be the best one to judge whether a player is good enough to play or not. Judging by Grade's track record last year he will be good enough, but you can't be completly sure. I am sure
jay_mc Posted 7 June 2008 Posted 7 June 2008 Has this boy got English parents or grand parents? The Euro's have kicked off and no England, what the **** is going on, its a disgrace! Who says "God never pays his debts with money?" Mandrics millions has installed misery and mayhem, disgrace that Holloway didn't resign after the match, he is the worse Leicester manager ever because he took us to an all time low! Jock Wallace will spinning in his grave! As for manager Ricky Gervais out of the office would want to manage this shower of shit! The only saving grace is that forest scum and sheep dippers will be coming down as we are going up. Its took me till now to speak about the ordeal. Edited to reduce size - davieG

Welcome - Nice rant for a first post; two things you don't need to write it so large to show you're angry I think we get the message and WTF has 99% of that got to do with Max Gradel
