Hullfox Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I'm having to be in the office today and it's doing me nuts in.
Katy Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I'm at uni and still manage to pay tax That's unlucky, how do you manage that? I haven't paid tax for over 5 years, but then I haven't earned anything either. That will make me popular
Daggers Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I've written a new song but I still can't fathom how to make my digital 8-track work...so I've bought a How-to-make-your-8-track-work DVD

Number 6 Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 That's unlucky, how do you manage that?I haven't paid tax for over 5 years, but then I haven't earned anything either. That will make me popular I work full time when not at uni because my student loan doesn't cover my rent. But i earn enough to mean I have to pay tax and don't get any help towards opticians, dentists etc. Not a good situation to be in to be honest. I have no idea where my next rent payment is coming from.
MC Prussian Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Makin love in this club! What? Chris Makin's back for good? I thought his hip to be square.
Bojimha Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Yeah I'm on here every day and I work! I have my own office with a unmonitored ADSL connection though so I can get away with it (torrents downloading and everything !). I'm on here so often I really should post more I guess!
lavrentis Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I've just finished school and have fook all to do until I start college in September Me too!

Have you tried contacting the CAB to see if there's any help you can get?

Have you tried contacting the CAB to see if there's any help you can get? I have not. I'm hoping I'll manage to get by. My rent is due on July 1st, which gives me no time to earn any money as I'm not back from uni until 20th June. Tried to delay the payment by contacting my landlord and explaining the situation to him, he didn't seem keen on letting me have a little more time to be honest but he may not have a choice .
the_bowman Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Student - 'Revising' I'm revising for exams and have an abnormally low boredom threshold. These people seem to be onto me
Guest Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I have a job. It's much better than the last job, as it involves a) more money and b) less work Plus (most) of the people are great, so it's a win-win!

Guest Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Surely that's a win-win-win? I don't want to be greedy. Amen to that after last time Apparently they've only just replaced me.

Lichfieldfox. Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I'm lucky enough to have a fantastic job in the good old NHS and mad enough to spend some of my valuable frre time on here. I really appreciate the posts from those of you who seem to devote all your spare time researching and moderating and running this site.
AoWW Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Should the thread title not be "Does anybody on here actually have a life?"
