No posts for an hour and a half. Come on where's all the speculation, misdirected anger and shattered dreams.

I want some rumours and conjecture to make me feel better....

Surely I'm in the right place

Ok, this will be the last post from me!

Just remember who told you about Megson leaving, who confirmed fixtures before they were announced, who kept everyone up to date with the Holloway deal, and who is now telling you it will be Gregory.

I can't help the fact that your too stupid to see the truth when it's put on a plate for you.

Oh well, your loss not mine.

Have fun all.

How does irony rank on your stupidometer? ;)

The 'Jas' fella on TB is usually spot on isn't he? They seem to think he is, he says 1pm today.

Well - there's your answer. It's...err...4:49

Be piss bored all you like Dags, I WAS born and there when Gregory left us in the lurch after Brian left. I think he's an arrogant tosser and a shit manager and I'm not going to get over it. If Gregory comes and does good for us (i.e gets us promotion) then I will publicly eat my pants. What's wrong with Wortho? Why can't we have him? The crux of the matter for me is that I don't trust Milan to make the right decision.

Mate - there's no one else.

Anyone with prior, anyone favoured by the mass here has either ruled themself out or was a laughable suggestion to begin with.

We are a ****ed up team with an egotistical idiot in charge who is in the process of flogging all of the better players. The appointee is going to be expected to perform some kind of miracle with a mixture of kids and old wank players no one wants...it's an impossible task.

If we end up with anyone half decent who is able to get us to mid-table mediocrity he'll have done well...we all need to buckle up because our journey into League 1 is going to take longer than a lot of people here think.

Unless someone manages to convince me of the opposite, I'm all yours, Daggers. :appl:

Leicester City FC has a vast, lively and lovely fanbase but that's about the only sane thing about this club. Everything else is simply a joke.

Not sure if its been posted or not. Lets put the speculation on Grayson to bed.

Grayson plays down Leicester link

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has distanced himself from a return to former club Leicester City.

Grayson, who captained the Foxes to League Cup success in 1997, has been linked with replacing Ian Holloway at the League One side.

"People can speculate, but I am fully focused on attracting players here," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"The fans want me to stay. I am happy here, but you can't stop it happening until Leicester appoint a manager."

Grayson replaced Colin Hendry as Blackpool manager in November 2005, during which time Leicester have had five permanent mangers and three caretaker managers.

He said: "It's not my priority and not my business.

"My chairman [Karl Oyston] has said that we are fully focused on trying to bring players here and we're looking forward to the start of next season."

One of those players is Paul Dickov, who scored six goals in seven starts last season during a loan spell from Manchester City.

Grayson hopes to sign him again next season.

"He's going to get back to me and we'll probably meet up in the next 48 hours or so and see what his developments are."

Mate - I'm under no illusions as to the task ahead, I'm allowed to think that Gregory is not right for us and that I do not like him am I not? I'm not fussed about who else comes in but I do feel passionately enough to kick off about Gregory, call it womens intuition or some bollocks like that if you like.

You are quite right in saying that whoever comes in has a mountain to climb and I for one will never moan about finishing mid table again, as long as we look like we are heading in the right direction I'll be happy.

If Gregs does come in and does well, I will hold my hands up and say I'm wrong and I can be hung, drawn and quartered on here quite happily. I will get behind the fella but it doesn't mean I'm happy.

I'm not saying he'll be our next manager but there is nothing in that article whatsoever that rules him out.

maybe Grayson will be good for our next next manager in a few week....months?

I'm already getting pretty fed up with whoever the next manager is results, I can't believe he hasn't given Fryatt the chance to miss more shots from 6 inches. We should also be playing more of the under 12's team.

I blame the new manager for my tonsillitis.
