davieG Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 we always seem to have a sort of "stalking horse" whose name is bandied about at new manager time (as a club we have become used to the ritual) in the past it's been the likes of Pleat and Peter Reid (hotly tipped by a number of papers last time around ) neither of whom has been mentioned this time around as serious contenders, instead we have gregory. To the best of my knowledge and belief there are no obstacles to appointing Gregory and his appointment could have been made weeks ago- therefore it has to be someone in employment or who needs the nod to walk out of his job on a strong promise- again not JG. My guess is a deal for Ince is underway Well if the strories doing the rounds are true, and there's plenty of them the delay is because Gregory doesn't want the job - can't think why with a proven supporting Chairman offering job security and the full backing of the fans

Get over it - half of you weren't even ****ing born when he was here, half of you are simply relying on Wikipedia and other people ranting and the other half of you can't count or think logically. Look at the realistic selection. Look at the emptyness in front of us. There next to piss all choice and anyone now left up for the job is much of a muchness so you may as well all get used to it - unless a surprise is sprung on everyone on Friday. Be piss bored all you like Dags, I WAS born and there when Gregory left us in the lurch after Brian left. I think he's an arrogant tosser and a shit manager and I'm not going to get over it. If Gregory comes and does good for us (i.e gets us promotion) then I will publicly eat my pants. What's wrong with Wortho? Why can't we have him? The crux of the matter for me is that I don't trust Milan to make the right decision.
