Spain have been quick out of the blocks and have really got it together, whereas we're yet to see Italy at their best. I wonder if we'll see another shock tonight. Spain 2 - 1 Italy.

As long as Aragones ensures that his side have the mental strength which the Croats and Dutch lacked in their games, they should just have the edge. They may need extra-time, though..

I am going to be up my girlfriends dad's restaurant watching this, its a private party, lots of food, a few peroni's and many many heated Italians!! Including her!! The joys of having a Italian missus!! God help me if they get beat!! I already told her i want Russia to win the tournament...

They're the only team left in I'd actually like to see win it, guttin'! Having said that, I've always been partial to a bit of Italy so if Torres and co' flop I'd like to see them go on and win it. Thing is with Italy, really, is that they'll always have the quality to shut out games. They're an arsey bunch of prima donnas, but once they're out of the group stages there's never any telling how far they'll get.

Pirlo will be a massive loss tonight but De Rossi could be a hero tonight I think. All depends on Italy's defence and if they can handle that deadly duo. Hopefully Alonso will start tonight after his performance against Greece. Maybe Spain to win in extra-time. 1-0 Alonso screamer.
