Sinner played fantastic. Was able to switch things up and keep Alcaraz on the defensive for most of the match.

Fourth major and will be the favourite at the US Open.

Hard to replicate the French Open final, but Sinner got better and better as the match went on, he was almost close to perfection in that 4th set.

No agree .

Alcaraz was well off form really .

He wasn't. Sinner knows how to play against him and both Ferrero and Lopez need to improve their coaching game. Alcaraz is always under pressure against Sinner and it looks like his coaches don't have an answer tactics wise.

Simply put Alcaraz looked like a 15yr old trying to counter powerful shots of an adult. The whole match.

Alcaraz’s stats for first and second serve were 53 and 51 per cent,  well down on his normal game.  You don’t win matches with that standard of serving, particularly against someone like Sinner.

Sinner's base level is higher than Alcaraz, it's why I think he'll end up winning more slams, fitness permitting.

Alcaraz is the more classically talented player, but still has a habit of donating away sets he should be winning.

Unless someone else breaks through, they'll both win a boat load of slams, they're so far clear of the pack.

Vicky Mboko reaches the final in Montreal and will play Osaka.

Not only is she Canadian, and she lives in my hometown :)

Great resilience shown .

Broke twice when potentially set to lose the match .
