Obviously not nice that someone is taken ill but feels like every day someone in the same corner or Centre it's happened!

Intense heat. Easily solved get the roof on and use the air conditioning.

Seems to be a few fans suffering in the heat .

Hope they are  ok .

Are you allowed to take water in or have to buy it ?

Agassi was unbearable on co-comms for the Alcaraz Fritz match. I know he's American and he'll want to talk about Fritz more and try and big him up a little, but christ it was overkill. Fritz played well, but the way Agassi was talking you'd think he was beating Alcaraz comfortably.

I thought Gary Busey was on co-comms.

Hope Sinner batters Alcaraz

Cant stand the obnoxious smug get

I don't find either of them likeable tbh.

Not great that they seem set to dominate for a while now.

Get people to drink less

Having been in there last Friday I’ve never felt heat like it and that was one of the cooler days. Was no better with the roof on as no air con! &nbsp

They also opened the roof even more just as the sun had gone behind us!! So ended up with another two hours of sun.

Also ended up having two boozy drinks and just water. Would have died otherwise lol

Took a bottle of wine that stayed in my bag!

Not a great fan of Sinner, but Alcaraz seems reasonably likeable in his interviews and a fantastic tennis player to boot.  Anyone you do like?

Alcaraz comes across as a really likeable guy imo, I'm surprised at your take mac tbh. Plus he's great to watch. He's just a young lad who happens to be one of the best in the world at what he does who's enjoying life whilst being successful. That's not smug. God forbid somebody is happy in life.

Sinner on the other hand plays percentage tennis, he's not box office at all. His interviews are dull and he has the drugs ban cloud hanging over him.

As we leave the era of the big 3/4 with Djokovic coming to the end i know who I want to be the face of the sport, and its the exciting to watch, life loving, good natured, friendly Alcaraz not the robotic boring percentage playing, uninteresting, drug cheat Sinner.

Plus Sinner is ginger

Don't get me wrong, if it's a straight choice between the two, it's Alcaraz every time. Sinner is everything unlikeable described here.

I guess my feelings are more just "meh" than anything else - there's nothing to dislike about Alcaraz, but I don't see much reason for me to personally to be a fan of him either. Tbh parochialism comes into it a fair bit - I wasn't really a fan of Federer or Nadal for the same reason, I appreciated their talent (as I do with Alcaraz) but if I'm going to be a fan of a tennis player, 99% of the time they're going to be British.

(Which means I'm going to be disappointed 99% of the time too. :D)

I do think Jack Draper has taken a giant leap in his progress in the last 12 months .  He has shown he is capable of beating the very top players such as Alcaraz, Fritz and Rune.  As he is still only 23 and if he carries on this arc then I can see him winning at least one slam during his career.  I don’t have that parochialism fortunately, I just admire the skill, fitness and mental fortitude that you need to be a top tennis player.  It is also how you conduct yourself on and off court, which is why someone like Kyrgios is a major turn off.

No disagreement there at all, I hope that Draper can make a name for himself and it's not too late for him to do so.

I do appreciate and admire the skill and manner when it comes to top level players like Alcaraz, but I see a difference between that and being a "fan" (as it were) of them.

Fair enough, I will be cheering on Alcaraz tomorrow.  Does that make me a fan, I suppose it does.  Sinner was very fortunate not to get dumped out in the quarters.
