Kudos to Djokovic...there's precious little that can stop him this year, I think. He seems to get better as he goes through tournaments.

Federer has won Slam finals against the likes of Philipoussis, Baghdatis, Soderling and Gonzalez.

 

Nadal has won some of his against the likes of Mariano Puerta, Tomas Berdych and David Ferrer.

 

Djokovic won his first against Tsonga.

 

So why...for the love of all known deities, is it when Murray rocks up to a Slam final he finds the fvcking Terminator on the other side of the net? Can't natural justice allow for just one gimme? It did for the others, for pity's sake.

Djokovic just takes advantage of any little mistake or lapse in concentration which Murray might get away with against anyone else..

Murray has massive lapses against Djokovic, more than any other player... and that is down to the pressure that Djokovic puts on, he gets everything back and makes you have to win the point.

Another break point saved by Djokovic, Murray has the game just not mentally at his best

Yeah I do agree with this. The record books need to show that he is better than just 2 slams.

Congrats to Nole...reckon he'll get pretty close to Roger's record as he'll be favourite for every Slam for the next year or two.

 

Murray needs a gimme final. One where he isn't facing off against Djokovic.

He just needs to get to a final and not have an all time great for once and them being at their best

would have been great if Murray gave him more of a challenge but his own frustrations got the better of him.

 

You can't be off the pace against Djokovic. He'll punish you and dominate you. Way too many unforced errors from Murray's and especially double faults.

in possibly one of the more competitive eras in tennis history. chuck winning the ATP finals in there as well and he is utterly dominant amongst some seriously good players. some of the best ever. if he carries on like this (tbf, this year he's looked better than almost ever before) he'll blast past fed's record and surely finally get the credit he deserves as the best of all time.

if nadal is as broken as it seems he is then djokovic will pass it by the end of next year.
