Nah mate, we often mentioned who would be next in line after Djokovic, Federer, Nadal and Murray who could break that barrier. Regardless if Raonic & Dimitrov in particular were ranked 10 or just outside they were looking like the ones who could break into that barrier, we all knew they were good players I was saying it in a way that these guys are the next big things, these will be the players who will be next in line. Raonic is improving so fair play to him, Dimitrov on the other hand :/

Yep ideally Cilic should of finished Fed, some very poor returns cost him; however it still has to be marked down as a wrong prediction. Berdych is a solid competitor, been and done it before and of course that experience counted.

I don't predict much, like yourself I put my neck on the line saying Cepelova would beat Muguruza because I had a pretty confident feeling, luckily it paid off.

Regarding Jerzy as we've all said ourselves before, we all get things wrong from time to time.

Now I know why I don't bother with you. A nothing post, which references no points in my post, makes no real points itself, doesn't argue against anything I've said. It's just gibberish. Trying to make yourself sound smart when your actually not. Edited by Facecloth

I think we all know who the joke is here mate.

Go back, read my post. Actually read it, take in the points I made, then read yours. Then come back and tell me you're not talking absolute shite.

I answered your three points, it's you who doesn't understand what I'm trying to say. Your banging on about predictions, I said I expect Raonic & Dimitrov to be next in line, I said nothing else, you are just making up shit.

You didn't really make any other points, you just bring up Jerzy like always because your fvcking obsessed, like I said I got it wrong regarding him, you've got things wrong in the past also, Manwell has, foxes_rule1978 gets things wrong from time to time, few others as well, quite frankly who cares?

funny if she gets venus in the final, she could easy do her 1 and love, wonder if she'd be so rude to her sister.

Think Kerber should win anyway, Serena will beat Venus in the final I'd of thought, easily.

Semi-finals day!

First up, Raonic v Fed.

Well, I ended up with egg on my face going against Fed last time out (though it was damn close) but I'm picking against him again here. He's vulnerable to big serves and big groundstrokes on grass these days, and Raonic is a capable exponent of both. Where Cilic lapsed mentally at the opportunity to win, Raonic won't, I don't think. Add the effects of a tough five-setter in the last round on the legs of Fed (which means if he's going to win I think he has to do it in straight sets) and I think Milos will get the first set and go on to win this one in 4.

Then Murray v Berdych.

Expecting a bit of needle in this one, given the history the two players have and also how Lendl snubbed Berd saying he was "not interested" before coming back onto Murrays team a month later. Andy says there are no hard feelings...but we'll wait and see.

As for the match itself, when he's in the mood Berdych is a fearsome opponent capable of blasting anyone off the court, but in recent encounters Murray has been able to adapt to and nullify that power in pretty due course, and I reckon the same will happen here. Berd will come out all guns blazing, the first two sets will be shared, and then Murray will slowly accelerate away and win in 4, in a similar pattern to the GS matches they've had in the past. (Their first encounter at the French Open notwithstanding)

Pretty much how I see it going. First game is always a tough one to call. As with Cilic you know Raonic has the ability to win this, and you know Federer isn't the player he was a few years back, but you still can't count him out as he proved on Wednesday.

backed raonic and murray, so if they both win then sweet.

obviously as with anyone who's ever had an interest in tennis, if roger wins you're happy. the ultimate pro and legend.

dont think berdych will cause murray too many problems. as you said, in 4 probably but wouldn't be surprised if he saw him off in 3.

fed hit a return winner off a 141mph serve hahaha. im out. that's impossible surely.

Classic Fed.

I fear today however he's brought an artists brush to a chainsaw sculpting contest.

yeah, got bludgeoned out of that first set. one small opening at 0-30 and he hit 4 serves that didnt come back. not much you can do about that.

fed doing a fed and dealing with the big serve. tie break and then one break of serve got him two sets. on serve in the fourth.

As I expected then. Thought Fed would probably beat Milos in 5 on grass.

If you could take the next set on a breaker though Milos that would be nice I'd quite like to watch Murray.
