Looking at the group, it looks very tight.

My opinion though

1. England (Injuries and Capello's abilities permitting)

2. Croatia (Euro 2008 hangover, loss of element of surprise)

3. Ukraine (Probably drop too many away from home)

4. Kazakhstan (Will be tough away from home but will finish way behind top 3 in terms of points)

5. Belarus (Lost at home to Luxembourg in Euro qualifiers)

6. Andorra (Would be a surprise to see them earn more than a point)

Depends whether Capello sticks with ageing deadwood like Beckham, or if key players like Owen stay fit.

I firmly believe that the England team is in freefall at the moment.

I think we'll finish third in our group. There aren't enough English players coming through into our top sides to give us any depth to the squad, outlined by Fabio Capello resorting to Division 4 for a keeper. I think we're about to enter the Dark Ages with our national side. We'll only qualify for another major competition if we host it, and by then the rules will probably have changed so that the hosting team will have to qualify.

Right then, where's that optimistic bus gone...

Capello will grind us through it. We've looked efficient against the teams so far, that will develop even more so. We'll win the group.

I fear he will stick with Beckham, who offers very little nowadays.

I think we will just get through it.

We'll get 2nd then mess it up in the play offs, capello will be paid off, then the FA will spend even more millions on another savoiur.

3rd doesn't qualify.

We're nothing special but we won't finish behind Andorra and the like.

2nd qualify automatically for the Euros, but it's a playoff for the World Cup.
