Alexikokopops Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 He was never going to stay, I don't understand why people are so shocked.
holly Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Not shocked Hume has gone just more disappointed, i am however shocked at stearman i thought he was loyal how wrong i was
Bojimha Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 I can't believe how people are weeping and wailing over these players leaving.THEY RELEGATED US! Besides we all spent most of last season complaining about the size of the squad, what do people want, for NFP to sign 10 new players and then not to be able to dump any of ethe excess excrement leaving us with another huge squad and a massive salary bill? It was always going to be the better known players who would leave first, there is still plenty of time to dump Henderson, Kisnorbo, Clemence, Oakley, Fryatt, Howard, DJ, Stapleton etc. I'm loving it Me too mate, duh duh duh duh durrrrr I'm loving it! Lets clear out this place and get rid of all the c*nts!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 He was probably my favourite player but let's not forget that's from a team of mainly crap players...the fact that Hume is such a cult hero is, to my mind, indicative of how rubbish we've become. I know some people are being a bit suspicious about whether Pearson was a party to this, but I'd imagine that he'd rather have his own players, and to be honest, I'd be amazed if he rates him that highly anyway. Just because Barnsley fancied him doesn't mean everyone else does
Bojimha Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Probably not as much as the huge amount of congealed faeces hanging from the hairs in your arsehole I actually laughed so much after reading that I had tears running down my face! Post of the year!
TaskFox1 Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Must admit there are a hell of a lot of players i would have gotten rid off before Hume. But hopefully we can have a whole clear out and install a better mentality to the team
blue blood Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 hume has 4 pages and stearman has 8. does that mean stearman was loved more than hume?
Asha Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 hume has 4 pages and stearman has 8. does that mean stearman was loved more than hume? Stearman's was confirmed earlier. Give it a chance.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Right now things just seem to be getting worse and worse! PLEASE GOD get the right players in this time, if we get 14 no hopers in again and we waste this season, we are well and truly fooked!!
hairy Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 hume has 4 pages and stearman has 8. does that mean stearman was loved more than hume? Imagine how many pages Hayles will get
anglodan Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Its sad to see him go. His goal to game ratio was about 1 every 4 games just about Surprised he plumped for the Tykes though
blue blood Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Imagine how many pages Hayles will get ohh err goodness...the longest thread ever!! i think hellings will be a close second with rab finishing a distant third.
Jonezy Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Thanks for the apologies on the players behalf, we thought you cared for a second, but you will rather play for Barnsley than trying to help this club out. Fair play, but don't play the 'I really care' card next time, it makes you look like a twat when you leave soon after. You tried your best and were one of our best players, but now you will always be remembered for missing Leicester City's most important penalty ever.....
Asha Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 They just showed Hume's goal vs. Sheff Wed on SSN. The ecstacy I felt then... How it turned so sour.
Halfsy Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Can't understand why we have people wishing Hume well? Surely giving 100% for the cause is the least you expect? He was a terrible player and moving to a club like Barnsley shows that he is only interested in the money. So much for Stearman crying in the dressing room and Hume's apology at our demise. Hume is largely to blame for our relegation, missing the most important penalty in the club's history. The players who have left today and those who will depart have no loyalty towards the club and ultimately us, the fans. Good riddance.
Jack Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Never thought we'd get that much for him. Wish him all the luck for the future, he's not the best player in the world but he will sure try his heart out for you.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Is anyone forgetting all that bullshit he span at the end of last season ("committed", "staying" were just some of the words used)? I like him as a player but can't forgive him for barefaced lying, especially considering his status as a fans favourite.
Danglo Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Can't understand why we have people wishing Hume well?Surely giving 100% for the cause is the least you expect? He was a terrible player and moving to a club like Barnsley shows that he is only interested in the money. So much for Stearman crying in the dressing room and Hume's apology at our demise. It was their fault and they have no loyalty towards the club and ultimately us, the fans. Good riddance. fair point still thought he would have done the business next yr though
Basingstoke Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 ohh err goodness...the longest thread ever!! i think hellings will be a close second with rab finishing a distant third.
lcfc7164 Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1333954,00.html Thanks for some great memories Hummmmmmeeeeeee, all the best at the tykes,But Leicester will be back to trounce you next season....BLUE ARMY FOREVER
Houdini Logic Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Dickov Mark II We're selling the better players and keeping the sh*t!
Dr The Singh Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Can't understand why we have people wishing Hume well?Surely giving 100% for the cause is the least you expect? It was their fault and they have no loyalty towards the club and ultimately us, the fans. Good riddance. I wonder how many more want to bail ship???? Fook them all, if they want to go, then fook off, we want players that want to play for the club thick and thin, I can see why it was so easy for us to get relegated, many players thought of it easy as to transfer to another club!!!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Dickov Mark IIWe're selling the better players and keeping the sh*t! We never had a chance with Dickov, there was a clause in his contract.
Lillehamring Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 hume = "best player we've had in the last four years" = league 1. nothing against him, but for a team just down from the prem as we were, he should never have been more than a squad striker... 1 goal in 4 from your best striker is never going to get you in the premiership.
Houdini Logic Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 We never had a chance with Dickov, there was a clause in his contract. I was talking more about the point of them saying they were going to stay and then ****ing off
