Crap Feeling

When we got relegated i felt crap. Then i started to feel better and optimistic for the future. Now that the duo of Iain Hume and Richard Stearman have now left the club  I now feel like crap and deflated again, the pains of relegation sinking further.

I need for Leicester to start signing some players making me feel happy again and reassuring me that we can be a good competitive side in League 1...

...Please

Anyone else feel like this, it's like all the hurt that we have tried so desperately to put behind us is now flooding back

I concur - feel like the exodus has only just begun even though deep down we all knew it would happen.....

It annoys me when players come out with statements like:

and then leave anyway...

Feeling more than a little stunned that, instead of clearing out the deadwood, the first things to go are what we need to hang on to. It's understandable that the things we want to get rid of will be difficult to do so, but we should have fought harder to keep what we need. It's not even as if Wolves and Barnsley are clubs that a player dreams of playing for either.

Bummed off!

Dunno what your on about, these players where part of the team that sent us down and if they don't have the guts / determination / loyalty to stay and sort it out then good riddance, clear all the ****ers out and lets get some enthusiastic and willing players in.

Couldn't agree any more.

I did too mate but when you think about it deeply they were the best of a bunch of shite players, it just means they were slightly less rubbish!

We have a major attitude / confidence problem in the team (which i commonly refer to as 'the curse') and the only way to get rid of it is by having a good clear out and creating a new positive ethos amongst the enthusiastic players that remain.

I'm coming round to this viewpoint more and more.

Mate I agree, it's painful at times, but was always going to happen after we got relegated.

Yeah. But i was kinda hoping we would pull through >_<

This is all so true, every bit of confidence and hope i had for next season on Thursday night has started to go, I even started to get my head around Nigel Pearson and started to think of just supporting him next season (which I would anyway because i love the club). This is looking bad though, its just a matter of time before Mattock leaves and when that happens I will be well and truly deflated.

We desperately need to sign some good players for the new season, obvious point but just so true. No more Carl Corts or Sergio Hellings PLEASE!!!

It just pisses off, that 2 of the players pretending to care the most sods off at first chance. They havent even talked with Nige yet.

But we need a massive player overhaul, and if they don't have the guts and wills to stay put, fcuk 'em, we'll find someone who have. This is going to be an interesting time isn't it? Maybe its just MM recouping what he has lost before he sods off too......

People are saying that we shouldn't sign 10+ players again this season, but if we let the whole squad get revamped then we'd surely have to.

I wonder how many more want to bail ship???? Fook them all, if they want to go, then fook off, we want players that want to play for the club thick and thin, I can see why it was so easy for us to get relegated, many players thought of it easy as to transfer to another club!!!

I hope Matock don't go. I know we do have alot of young talents still left at the club but not one's that have the potential as Mattock and from Leicester.

I really want to see a Leicester player in an England shirt, at least once in the next couple of years

If the figures are right we have trousered 4.3 million. Good business IMO.

Personally, I feel relieved as if I could actually feel a new fresh wind breezing through the madhouse known as LCFC.

Let's move on and look forward.

BLUE ARMY!

Delighted, we can get like 11 Barry Hayles with that

We all dream of a team of Barry Hayles!!

I can seriously see Mattock becoming a good England left back in the coming years...

...for that to happen he will have to move to the top flight.

However, i don't think it is the right time. He should stay for atleast one more season and then move away to better his game.

I really thought Hume wanted to stay after his comments when we went down, clearly that was a bit naive of me.

Well now we know that anyone can go in the summer. Anyone!
