I remember that, I was there and nearly got knocked out by someone's shoe when they leapt up to celebrate and they got thrown about! Good Times!!

I wasn't there, sadly, being a penniless student, but was lucky enough to watch it on telly with a Derby fan who stormed off at the end to his room and didn't emerge again that day. I never really understood why, as Derby had already won automatic promotion at that point.

Nobody around me saw it, everyone was watching Kalac in disbelief. Then, a wave of cheers went around the stadium as people realised we'd just won it.

I was watching the 1995/96 season review this morning, and that bit when Kalac came on was a masterstroke by O'Neill. Everyone thought that the ref had blown for full time, and it clearly distracted Palace, with Super Stevie shinning it in. What a day, what memories.

I still get goosebumps when i see that goal. Most amazing football moment in my lifetime. Can remember being on the 2nd tier at Wembley when that went in and thought my dad was actually gonna chuck me onto the pitch when he picked me up and was jumping around. Best day of my life in footballing terms
