Lillehamring Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Sounds promising enough to me. Big, strong and young. Lets trust he can pass the ball too, which would be a novelty. fu(kinell, you don't half ask for it
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Rather a Morro than knackered old has-been. Can't we have both?
Simi Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Mark's brother? Return of the Mack to be played at the press conference?
Thracian Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Can't we have both? Give it time! fu(kinell, you don't half ask for it Don'tyou start!
JoeyB Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 At least when someone says they saw him out side Morrisons they wont be lieing
Babylon Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 For once our transfer policy is correct!! Part of me thinks this relegation could do us a big favour long term.
Ikon_Klow Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Great news! So far I am really impressed with the names that Pearson has been linked with. Young, hungry players who will hopefully do well at League One Level and then be ready for the Championship in the not too distant future! Come on Pearson! Keep up the good work. You have my full support!
Alexikokopops Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 For once our transfer policy is correct!! Part of me thinks this relegation could do us a big favour long term. I said something like that when we were in a relegation battle at the end of last season. Then I told myself to stop being ridiculous, we'd never sign sensibly. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong.
dog_4 Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 i'd love to see worley and morrison play together in league 1 for a season. Worley has trained alongside terry and calvalho while morrison has trained with a host of premiership sides and a championship side. That's enough experiance for me. Hopefully sign Nicky Adams and Ian Harte next.
teblin Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 For once our transfer policy is correct!! Part of me thinks this relegation could do us a big favour long term. Me too. As the guy from bury is young too. Players that will hopefully be able to step up to league with comfort but would need a season at this level before being ready for the champ.
Sparky Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Sounds promising enough to me. Big, strong and young. Lets trust he can pass the ball too, which would be a novelty. Wouldnt count on it , if he could pass too he would have set us back a million quid !!
Fox You Forest Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Could we be going in the right direction. Good luck to the lad i hope he does well.
Bert Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 At least when someone says they saw him out side Morrisons they wont be lieing Not funny. Oor good.
Sods Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 This is exactly what we should be doing Hopefully he makes the jump.
dog_4 Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 i'd like to see worley and morrison in the centre, harte left back and push mattock onto left midfield. Then we could slowly be forming a quality side.
Joe. Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Hmmm. I like the fact he's not a big name and he's got plenty to prove. Let's hope it's a step in the right direction.
iancognito Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 With this guy and the brick shithouse from Hartlepool coming plus Lucketti as a guiding hand, you'll need a tank to get through our backline next year. Though, clean sheets aren't the problem it's the other end we've got problems
dog_4 Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 we don't need lucketti and the guy from hartlepool. Two young six footers in the backline will do.
Collymore Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 The only thing that worries me is that he plays non-league football, we've had these kind of signings before (rememeber that Kevin Ellison guy?) He couldn't even break into our reserves. Anyway welcome to the club and good luck
dog_4 Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 yeah but he was 27 and not interesting big premier league clubs.
Joe. Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 He's following in the footsteps of Big Trev. Surely that's something to be happy about.
the_bowman Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 You'd be surprised how non-league football has come on, especially the youngsters show a lot of promise, and the England C squad are really getting good
daveyboy Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 With this guy and the brick shithouse from Hartlepool coming plus Lucketti as a guiding hand, you'll need a tank to get through our backline next year.Though, clean sheets aren't the problem it's the other end we've got problems But we've lost two out of three back four (McAuley & Stearman) from last season and Kisnorbo is out for ages then with Mattock rumoured to be off as well that takes us back to square one defence wise.
