If he stays fit and makes a good career for himself, I certainly think he will be a skipper whoever he's playing for. Committed to fook and always encouraging and shouting. Currently I would probably go with Oakley for it - plenty of experience in the role (contrary to popular belief, Clemence was not club captain at Brum, Damien Johnson was/is) and a good role model with his temperament.

Why? if he didn't grab at the strikers constantly then it wouldn't of happened so if he wasn't such a reckless idiot he wouldn't of invited the decisions would he I bet you were one of the one's that was happy when he first signed. why? because he's been shit and shown absolutely no leadership, yes I was optimistic when he signed but I also questioned why Brum would allow their captain and player of the season to leave, he was worse then useless last season, had Gareth Williams of Stephen Hughes played as he did they would of been slaughtered by everyone, including you

Whenever he had a centre midfielder next to him, he had a great game. He still managed more assists than any other midfielder last season, (Maybe even the whole squad) and scored more goals than some of our strikers. How can you say that they'd be slaughtered by everyone? You have a vendetta aginst Clem for being "worse than useless" when i can bet he'd do a better job than you. If someone has a bad game, I'll say, If i think they've played well, I'll say. I'm so glad you're not in the football managing business, you clearly have no clue whatsoever. The reason Clemence left, was because he couldn't be guaranteed first team football.

However, the fact that he is the wrong side of the striker time and time again leads to situations where a badly positioned ref / clever forward is going to get him sent off. Maybe having a centre half as manager rather than a cider drinking chuckle brother may help him. It's already been noted that Pearson is coaching Morrison in the games, maybe he can do the same for Kisnorbo. Anyway, as a captain you need someone to gee the team on from the word go, not stand on the edge of the box humming an imaginary national anthem in your head.

He's at the heart of the team, is a determined battler and seems a chirpy, popular and intelligent chap off the field. He's also been at the club for years and knows everyone about the place. Success would also mean there'd be no need to change captain again next season.

Success would also mean there'd be no need to change captain again next season. I think that Weso would also be a more popualr choice among the fans. I'd much rather have an academy graduate lead the team than any signing. I think it'd be the ultimate representation of just how good the youth system here is. His style of play also suits the captain's mould perfectly. Never afraid to get stuck in, almost like the team's pitbull.

I agree with much of this though a similar argument could be used to justify DJ, weso, Howard and Oakley all havig bad season, injury and not knowing who they would be playing alongside. If our players play at the level they are capable of then we could destroy this league, a big if though
