Houdini Logic Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Off limits for the whole of pre-season and possibly the season aswell. Anybody know why this is?
Kilworthfox Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Off limits for the whole of pre-season and possibly the season aswell.Anybody know why this is? Infested with Beavers!
Katy Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Gone are the days when you could just turn up and watch eh, they probably thinking we might want to lay one on them or something. I was born literally yards from the training ground In a house not on the actual road by the way

Basingstoke Fox Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Probably so that rival teams cant come and see our amazing players with amazing tactics?
Katy Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Yeah, last ****ing season! Language! Have to admit I haven't been to see us train since Brian Little was gaffa. Maybe we could pester Peter Jones and ask him.
davieG Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 They should have made the Walkers Stadium off limits for last season and a few prior to that.
Simi Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 What? That's a bit gay. Thrown our plans right in the air.
l444ry Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Probably so that rival teams cant come and see our amazing players with amazing tactics? Might as well hide the fact that they ain't up to training either. Anyone would think City are Real Madrid or something. A ludicrous, self-important claptrap decision..... if it's true.

A ludicrous, self-important claptrap decision..... if it's true. Do teams like United not allow people to watch training these days?

A ludicrous, self-important claptrap decision..... if it's true. We are bigger than Real Madrid. I think I've listened to too many phone-ins on RL
l444ry Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Do teams like United not allow people to watch training these days? Forgot that!! I should have written that City think they are Real Madrid AND Colchester United.
Cat Burger Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Now they're even less likely to be able to perform in front of a crowd.

I went down yesterday - the gate was blocked with road cones, there was an attendant manning the fort and a big sign saying 'no spectators beyond this point'. Amusing now i think about it...
smokey Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Off limits for the whole of pre-season and possibly the season aswell.Anybody know why this is? Yes this is true! I was told it was just until the season starts. Apparently it is for Pearson to get to know all the players without any interuptions, i think its good, better than all the fu**ing about Allen and Ollie used to do just for media attention, at least this shows Pearson is serious about this and wants to do well!

I wouldn't say to Allen's face that he wasn't serious if I were you.
smokey Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 I wouldn't say to Allen's face that he wasn't serious if I were you. Why? Whats scary about that idiot!!
Daggers Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 A ludicrous, self-important claptrap decision..... if it's true. Or a reasoned response to the altogether unhelpful verbal diarrhoea pouring from some "supporters" during the friendly matches played thus far?

Wat about some of the 'spectators' we had on the field last season. Were they allowed in ??
Jonbluefox9 Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 It's going to be closed all season to spectators apart from Academy matches.
Ric Flair Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 It's going to be closed all season to spectators apart from Academy matches. Emsie-Lou will be devastated.
