Possibly I'd consider playing Adams on the left because of the sheer amount of crosses Gradel gets into the box and Adams seems to like arriving onto the end of them. The key combination is Fryatt and Campbell, still not seen them up front together??

morris1234 Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 Hendo Gilbert Morrison Tunchev Mattock Gradel Oakley hobbs Adams Fryatt DJ i think the good thing about our squad now is that we have flexibility and other options which is needed, we cant just keep fielding a side we think will do well like last season (although that didnt work ) we need to change our squad according to the opposition so for example if the opposition has a dangerously slow defence, get dj up front etc etc and we did not see any evidence of this thinking last season. we basically have competition for places which we need, last season there was too much of ' im too good not to get played' especially from players like oakley and howard, well that needs to change!

Not sure about the Palace game but think this will be the team against MK Dons minus Porter, i think its between Adams, Gradel and Dyer for the 2 wing spots, other than that im faily sure that is be our best 11.

Thats fair enough Ted but thankfully Nigel Pearson is our Manager and not you! I'm not a Levi fan and thought he was average at best against quorn, good goal against brum but just a squad player for me.
