Monk Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 I can't quite make my mind up if the latest news stories about Milliband are media fuelled or if he is using reverse language to raise his profile. Clearly there are a lot of people that want him to stand for leadership. Personally I think it's clutching at straws. The brand of Labour is ruined and it was going that way before Tony left. I don't honestly know how good Milliband is, obviously a pleaser for some but I doubt it would solve the existing issue. What do you reckon?
Daggers Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 I thought this was a thread dedicated to scat. Imagine my disappointment.

You mean New Labour, perhaps they'll reinvent themselves as err, um Labour!
Daggers Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 I still don't see what anyone else is offering that makes them worth voting for. At this moment in time I will simply enjoy the day of work because of the general election and go to the pub.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 Some fashionista on daytime TV today said that Brown was out this summer. Maybe she knows something we dont?

Monk Posted 30 July 2008 Author Posted 30 July 2008 I'll have you cut off from the grid, should reduce your bills nicely
Flynny Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 Milliband will come in at some point, probably denying the Conservatives a huge majority and saving 50 labour MPs their jobs. The latter is exactly the reason why Brown's position should become untenable. I'd rather brown stayed. I think the country kind of needs a big-spending government turfing out for a bit. And whether or not Cameron believes all the near-perfectly balanced opinions that come out of his mouth, if thats what he actually does i'm happy enough.
poynton blue Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 With the BNP in opposition lead by Craigadams22 He's fallen a long way since being bass player with The Mission... though he did later join Spear of Destiny, a band known for their right wing politics... Are they??? Have you any proof??? Its just their name ala New order and Joy Division. They have right wing names but are not right wing!!!! Regards
Monk Posted 30 July 2008 Author Posted 30 July 2008 do cabinet members get their second homes paid for No, they get their cabinets paid for. In some special circumstances a minature cabin, a cabinette may be granted
Monk Posted 30 July 2008 Author Posted 30 July 2008 They have right wing names but are not right wing!!!! So, a bit like Stearman then?
Alexikokopops Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 Tea Boy I decline. I'm starting an opposition party. I might call it the Party Ring, disguising it's deeply homoerotic undertones behind the facade of a love for the popular biscuit
