syston_fox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 You couldn't have been at the Soton league game then. JME wasn't
C-man Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 This HUGE clamour for tickets from the Dons must surely be swelling our bumper crowd?!

Guest Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 i refuse to pay £23 or whatever it is to watch league one football. what a rip off. the radio will do fine for now And yet you criticise the fans for not trying to make any noise?
blueharmie Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 And yet you criticise the fans for not trying to make any noise? i dont! some make noise, most do not thats all im saying. Not being funny but 20 odd pound is a rip off, you must agree with that! wait till it gets later in the season, crowds will go down.

If we are doing well they will go up.

I have a season ticket, so don't pay anywhere near that amount, to be fair! I don't want to be an apologist for the club, but MM's finances are finite, and if we want a team capable, not just of getting promoted but staying in the Championship and being competitive, then the money has to come from somewhere to pay for it. We aren't going to get it from other revenue sources, not realistically. I just hope for our sake we get promoted quickly, otherwise the club will find people voting with their feet.

I bet £5 after i dunno, 3 or 4 matches of super Maxi ripping all opposition apart you will be sitting back at the Walkers, £23 short.

Chairman of the Bored Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 I wonder what a Franchise FC fan will look like? Head of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Body of a Macdonalds. Legs of a Pizza Hut. Heart of plastic And no soul. What I want to know is, are they bringing their cows with them?
Lillehamring Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 more importantly, linking from that page is the roll call of knackered players they have... http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...1358108,00.html

mickydeeeuk Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 ive got my season ticket anyway, but £23 aint that bad.... Kettering Town Vs Rushden & diamonds in a few weeks .... £20 to sit in the stand ...for a conference game, now thats a ****ing rip off!!
Daggers Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 He's not going to be the only one - there'll be thousands of them bailing out because they don't think it's worth paying the money...but then they'll come running back when they start hearing about us winning games and being promoted...then they'll be moaning that they can't get tickets for sell-out games and it's all unfair and they've been fans ever since they were born and went to all the Wembley finals.

Maybe. I won't be though, I plan to attend around 5/6 games this season. Good times.

Daggers Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 To be fair, its a ****ing rip-off and your a mug for paying it. When do you draw the line? My season ticket means I pay substantially less than £23 - everyone concerned about the price of games should have one. £13 per game is bloody cheap.
Tabou Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 My season ticket means I pay substantially less than £23 - everyone concerned about the price of games should have one.£13 per game is bloody cheap. Agree. If I didn't have the uncertainty of my working weekends for the next year, then I would buy one. Im having to make do with £23 per game. Starting on Saturday. Never having purchased a ticket before in my life (due to my ST)....can you buy online? On the phone??

MC Prussian Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 A regular ST for L1 for instance is slightly more than £16 per home game - not a bad deal. Students in L1 get away with £11. The Kop is like £15/£10 respectively. If you're complaining about prices, do it someplace else.
