Webbo Posted 18 August 2008 Share Posted 18 August 2008 Also i got a shout out during the second half of the game which was quite funny, then today i got an email from him asking if i heard the shout out and thanking me for tuning in so far away. I heard that and wondered if it was you. I didn't like him much at first but he's slowly growing on me.

ozleicester Posted 26 August 2008 Share Posted 26 August 2008 A great improvement on his predecessor, up side... 1) actually likes Leicester 2) Generates some excitement in his commentary 3) has a bit of humour about him 4) Actually tells us what is happening down side... 1) Im not informed of minor weather changes 2) worried that if we start playing shit...he will describe it and i will understand just how bad the last few years have been 3) has failed to say hello to... Fidel, listening in Chile Davo, listening in Perth Bruce, listening in Alice Springs 4) seems to have an unhealthy alliance with ROOFOX All in all, i dont know whether its because we are playing reasonable football, or winning, or his commentary...but ive enjoyed the first three games coverage much much more than previous years. Poor old Fidel and that poor lad listening from Botswana I've enjoyed listening to the games aswell. This could be because we are winning i haven't just got home from a big night on the piss and that its not daylight savings so games are starting at 12am not 2am like they will in a few weeks
