billyfox1 Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 good move for him. can't see him getting any first team games this season
ASH17LCFC Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 What a legend Yeah legend, thought the guy was one of the worst player i've ever seen in a city shirt. Still i will always remember his goal vs Palace.
Jonezy Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Hopefully they will pay most of his wages then. I have nothing against Hayles, but he looked a long way down the pecking order in Nigel's book, so hopefully this can turn into something more permanent.
Joe. Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 I'm quite surprised by this, and I don't even know why. Maybe it's because I never thought we'd actually be able to offload him. Well, it's nice to know he doesn't figure in Pearson's first team plans.
Head Honcho Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Hayles gone to Cheltenham, on loan for a month
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Harsh to say Hayles was one of the worst players ever. Although not technically gifted, anyone who faulted his effort is an idiot. At least he gave a toss.
Samilktray Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Barrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
Tevez Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Weird Move, offered him a 6 month at Sileby Athletic aswell. Ah well theres always David NGog or Efan Ekoku
Thracian Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 He'll be another who'll finish up as nothing more than a passing cloud in City's history. People will quickly forget he even played for us. Cracker against Palace though! The goal that could have kept us up if only we'd not gone into silly mode.
eaststandtom Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Harsh to say Hayles was one of the worst players ever. Although not technically gifted, anyone who faulted his effort is an idiot. At least he gave a toss. his performance away at barnsley would verify this still hardly feckin ronaldo either
TaskFox1 Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Never really got going here. Good luck to him. hope he helps cheltenham, quick like them as a team
Manderic's pants Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 To Cheltenham for a month. This is where the goals start rolling in... http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/displayN...;pNodeId=132401
maddog Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 He completely changed the game at Barnsley. Not permenent, we may need him if Howard and Campbell continue to be useless.
ASH17LCFC Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Ok i was being atad harsh on barry, when we brought him i thought mistake and it was. I don't blame Barry though, was Holloways fault.
Head Honcho Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 At least he won't be eligible to play against us. Think I'd rather he played against us tbh
FilboFox Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Why only 1 month? Its not like he needs any experience... I guess this is just a way for Pearson to get rid of him for a month whilst finding someone to take him on more permanently... perhaps even a sort of test run for Cheltenham to see if he'd be any good for them... lets hope he does well.
