I'd say there could be truth in it, i think it would be near impossible to prove whether it exists or not to be honest.

I thought this would be about the situation developing with Russia, the US and NATO which could well evolve into a New World Order scenario for real.

This is precisely what Hitler did with the Nazi movement, even changing fable and folklore to illustrate his point. The sad thing is that Hitler despite being a murderous genocidal maniac had a vision and a plan for the changes he wanted to impose - These people have squat except a teenage thirst for chaos and conspiracy. If they got what they wanted and government fell they would be hiding in their houses praying for the army to turn up and rescue them holding tightly on to warm bosom of mummy not knowing wether to suckle or shit.
