Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 He's impressed since joining Besiktas. Despite this result: Besiktas > Fenerbahahachche

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Over the course of the league season, yes. Don't agree!
lavrentis Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Nathko, don't you follow Italian football? If you do, how are Hellas Verona getting on?
Darkzzz_ Posted 8 May 2009 Author Posted 8 May 2009 Nathko, don't you follow Italian football? If you do, how are Hellas Verona getting on? Yeah I do... I don't quite follow it that far down but I know they are struggling down there in C1/A. What a drop down the divisions. They are on the list of many.
Ultra Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Hellas fans are regarded by many in Italy as thuggish, racist filth - their equivalent of Millwall. Long may they rot in the lower divisions. On a brighter note, Valencia's 3-0 stuffing of Real Madrid last night means that Barca can clinch La Liga tonight.. The champagne will be kept nicely chilled..
lildave3 Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Fenerbahce beat Denizlispor 1-0 thanks to Guiza. Highlights Sivasspor lost again, meaning Besiktas go top after winning 4-1 away at Ankaraspor.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 May 2009 Author Posted 10 May 2009 I shall be looking forward to Barca winning La Liga tonight.... (hopefully)

Darkzzz_ Posted 10 May 2009 Author Posted 10 May 2009 Great game tonight for La Liga. Credit to Villarreal.. They have been superb and yet again that shaky defence has cost Barca. I am sorry for my mate, he was at the game tonight, or am I sorry?? 1 more point and it is in the bag, job done.
MarkDeVries Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 I missed this game Looks like Real will be spending huge amounts in the summer, the 'Galacticos' era will be back So say Revista de La Liga & Zidane is going to become the Sporting Director.

Samilktray Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Id Love it if Real won La Liga next year. Id Love it more If Valencia did though.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 May 2009 Author Posted 10 May 2009 I liked Zidane. But that's as far as it went. I also like to see Valencia finish up there too, always had a soft spot for them.
Ultra Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Last-minute winner for Atletico tonight, after being 2-0 down with a man sent off. Their game with Valencia next week will be absolutely massive.
CosbehFox Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 I am sorry for my mate, he was at the game tonight, or am I sorry?? I had a mate who went too. Haha. If Nunez becomes the president, which is no sure thing given his previous reign.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Dortmund won 4-0 against Karlsruhe. 7 on the bounce now.
Darkzzz_ Posted 11 May 2009 Author Posted 11 May 2009 I had a mate who went too. Haha. We are cruel bastards aren't we?
CosbehFox Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 We are cruel bastards aren't we? Yes, it's mainly spawned from me cos the lad has gone Barcelona three times this year, I think his bird has family there. Spawny bleeder but he doesn't have the best of luck when it comes to the footy team. One of my ultimate dreams would be to own property in Barca or nearby.

You share something very similar to me then my friend... I want to move there eventually. I absolutely adore the city, it really isn't just the football that gets you when you are there.
Sparky Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 I see Iniesta picked up thigh injury and is a doubt for CL final , didnt look to worrying as he left the pitch though
Uncle Albert Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 If Iniesta is out of the Champs League then I think it's all over and the Trophy will certainly be heading to Manchester. Which is a shame because Iniesta has been immense. Doesnt get the praise he should I dont think.
Darkzzz_ Posted 11 May 2009 Author Posted 11 May 2009 It looks as though he will be out at the moment. It is terrible news of course. He has been the most important player for them so far in the CL and was by far the best player out the pitch in both legs against Chelsea. United will be happy with that, they will be even more happy with the fact that Barcelona's make shift defence conceded three goals last night after being 3-1 up. It has 1994 CL final written all over it. I bloody well hope not but United are so strong.
