Mikey Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 I know why mine isn't working. I have a Mac, and you need Intel Processor and Mac OS X 10.5, whereas mine hasn't got this (my Dads has). So mine just comes up with a grey screen.

Good, I'm getting a ridiculous amount at the minute. Another thing that is annoying me is that when you type on the game the keyboard becomes ultra sensitive and types double letters. Other than that I'm enjoying this very much.

shen Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 The 3D match system seems utterly pointless. Very disappointed so far. The only thing it does is change the dots with men and put the field in an isometric angle. You can't actually see on the field why a player wins/loses a duel, the whole thing actually looks a lot more mechanical than it used to be The match engine doesn't seem changed at all The only thing that looks interesting so far is the in-match feedback by the assistant (and that still seems bugged as well... why can he only name two players at a time when they are knackered?)

I hope this is just a glitch in the game and will be sorted for when the real version is out. report it to si all i can say. downloading now. This Steam shit is carp

That's a bug too which will be fixed It only happens on some keyboards they say (It doesn't happen to me)

I don't think it will be long before someone 'cracks' the demo so it doesn't end on 31st December 2008. All the illegally downloaded ones are just the demo that makes it so you can carry on playing beyond the end date. I don't see the point though as with cracked versions you get all the bugs, such as the millions of injuries and you can't patch cracked versions.

I actually find that the 3D is just a gadget, and not something that adds to the gameplay. I can see myself switching back to the 2D overview if id doesn't do more than this. It's ugly, it's primitive, it's hyped up, but in the end, all they've done is add an angle and a few templates on dots. That's hardly the progress I'm used to from Sigames <_<

The People's Hero Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Unplayable for me as the computer is too slow... which is to say it WILL work - but painfully slowly. The text input in this is ridiculously over-sensitive with double letters as the norm rather than the exception. The injuries thing is really annoying. I only played 2 games and I've had so many midfielders injured. I won't bother with it anyway unless i can get another computer.

(I'm playing as Leicester) Have drafted in: Fabio Rodrigo Possebon Darren Gibson Nabil El Zhar Henri Lansbury Craig Beattie Fred Sears Powell and DJ gone, whilst pretty much all the youth have been farmed out on loan to lower league sides. Havent experienced any of these injury problems yet, first game of the season soon, so we shall see then!
