dandannieldanok Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 On a sidenote, SI Games is giving one of each of those away for free: Is that Germany's new kit in the top right corner? Whose ever it is, it's one of the best shirts I've seen for ages, looks brilliant.
MarkDeVries Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Need some new staff. Assistant manager, any particular favourites?
Fox You Forest Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Yeah 07 is probably my favourite apart from the legendary Championship Manager 97/98. Need some new staff.Assistant manager anyone particularly favours? Al Stewart is the one i use.
DB11 Posted 11 June 2009 Author Posted 11 June 2009 FM2007 is the 'best' version (after it was patched) but once you've tried the new features in the new versions I couldn't go back to an older version! Al Stewart is the one i use. Same! Did you get him from my tip back earlier in the thread?

Same! Did you get him from my tip back earlier in the thread? Yep, used him ever since. I always pinch other teams youth coaches now like Terry Phelan, Tommy Martin and Mark Dempsey from Man Utd and hire them as coaches.

dandannieldanok Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Top right is Russias new kit. Ah ok cheers , it's an absolute beaut, looks great imo.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 Started as Watford, going to have a real concerted effort to make a good go of it, haven't really played FM for a few months. Immediately released Mart Poom who is on an astonishing £12,000 a week!
GLC Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 Left Barrow for leicester, who are 18th in the championship

Same! Did you get him from my tip back earlier in the thread? Yeh I know what you mean mate, i'm usually always like that but when I played 08 I couldn't get into it and the match engine didn't feel right like it did on 2007. I played about 15 minutes of the 2009 demo and then never played it again. True it had loads of improvements but there were some bugs which really made the game annoying that you didn't get on 2007. The match engine bugs were shocking for a start, too many goals from long range, keepers scoring from their own box too often, match engine being jerky etc... If I could make the perfect footy management game I would take fm 2007's match engine and computer friendly loading times coupled with fm 2009's new features and fm 2007's almost bug-less game after the patches.
MarkDeVries Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 5 of players at Spurs were unhappy, including Palacios He wanted to move to a bigger club and went to Udinese. Sold all them. Now, all my first team players, Sakho, Jovetic, Modric, Woodgate & Pavlyuchenko want to leave Heartbreak.

dandannieldanok Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Started well with Watford, won 2 of my first 3 games in the Championship. Didn't make any major changes just reshaped the squad a little. Transfers in: Ivan Amaya (£700k), Erik Huseklepp (£300k), Vladimir Weiss (loan) Transfers out: Jobi McAnuff (£2.5m), Lee Williamson (£525k), Mart Poom, Richard Lee, Steve Kabba (all released) For once all my signings have been successful so far, especially Huseklepp who is a creative winger, if you are in the championship have a look at him he's very good for the price I got him at.
Fox You Forest Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 No idea, I have my Steam set to offline mode anyway so i don't keep getting "Phube is currently playing Peggle Nights".

DB11 Posted 14 June 2009 Author Posted 14 June 2009 http://sortitoutsi.net/2009/graphics/downl.../Turnstyle%2009 That looks very nice.
MC Prussian Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Started playing this yesterday for the very first time. I waited with the purchase because of the bad reviews it got in the beginning (mostly due to people not being able to login online for registration). I don't notice a lot of changes, if there are, then they're subtle (apart from the neat 3D mode, which could use a little bit more atmosphere, though). Without wanting to go back dozens of pages, do I get the facepacks and logos/crests from the usual sources - like sortitoutsi? Or are there any better ones?
Simi Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Anyone link me to a database where all the players are unattatched?
