Football Manager 2009

Finally managed to get it installed, and then eventually get the updates, but now everytime I minimize FM and go back onto it, I get a screen like this:

uttershit.jpg

At first the screen is completely black, then whenever I put my cursor over a certain part of the screen little parts of the game start to appear. I have to click 'an option' for the whole game to appear, e.g "ok" or "cancel" when I saw the screenie above.

WTF is wrong with this game? Even Premier League Manager 01/02 was better than this.

Change the screen to 'Windowed' instead of 'Default' - does that work?

Plus your graphics card is probably shit

Is anyone else having a nightmare with injuries on this 9.2 patch, it's seems more of a problem than on the initial default settings where injuries were identified as a problem.

Maybe it would be best if you just fixed one thing at a time rather than downloading everything you can get your grubby mitts on? :dunno:

Perhaps if you knew how many problems i've came accross with this then you'd understand why im downloading everything I can get my 'grubby mitts' on.

Ouch, that's a lot of injuries and about the same amount I've had at my peak. The injuries are recurring aswell for me, I seem to get a lot of 'strained necks' and 'calf strains'. I'm considering changing some of the backroom staff but I doubt it will help, it seems like a problem with the actual game.

Oh and I see you've got Cevasco, good choice.

Frustrated, very frustrated. As Arsenal I've just been knocked out of the FA Cup by Cardiff which is threatening to ruin a very promising season so far. Managed to squeak into the League Cup final in extra time against Tottenham, have been favorably drawn against Shaktar in the last 16 of the Champions League and in 2nd (3 points behind Liverpool) in the premier league. However, this embarrassment is slowing taking the wind out of my sails, I can feel it. :(

I am crap at this, granted I am periodically playing it, but I am drawing far too many games. In my first season with Leicester; Played 9 Won 5 Drew 4. Only signed one player in the Summer and that was Giorgi Makaridze a Goalkeeper from Dinamo Tbilisi - He seems promising so far having played 4 League games, conceding only 1

on my luton game i signed a player called Renato Queiros, hes been in amazing form 19 goals in 21 games, hes my hero lol but he is 31, so i hope he doesnt retire soon

Only way I can win is by downloading tactics but that makes it kinda boring as I'm just pressing the continue and not doing owt myself :(

Just done the treble with my created Leicester UTD team!

Beat Ajax in Champions League final, pipped Arsenal to the Premier League & beat Spurs in the League Cup final.....but all of that pales in comparrison to getting my feeder team (Ebbsfleet UTD) from the Blue Square North to The Championship.....Now I'm trying to get T.N.S, Marine & Truro City up there too.

Still not got the England job yet though......the FA just love Paul Ince.

As Brazil, Argentina etc have some good youth players but it's almost impossible to get work permitts which countries are the best to get feeder clubs so I can sign them that way?

Mid table in the championship after about six games, although I really like this team and think I'm gonna do well:

Kerrea Gilbert (signed)----- Elliott Ward----- Sasho ©-- Djimi Traore

Colin Kazim Richards------Segundo Castillo----Alan Mahon----Jerome Thomas

----------------------Mark Viduka-----Febian Brandy (loan)

Subs

Ian Walker
