Edit: Broken laptop has slowed down my first Prem season and I've finally got one game left. Somehow, out of nowhere, I've put together the scrappiest winning streak in Premier League history and am up to 5th (from 14th and dropping in Feb/early March.) I've got Man Utd on the last game of the season and if I better Aston Villa's result I'll actually finish fourth.

... problem being they're playing Bristol City, already relegated in March. :P

PS: Why are Man Utd so shit on this? They're like... 12th.

im 99.9% sure that it aint installing cus i first selected steam when i chose the delivery method. it installed on my laptop first time when i chose the other method. ive even gone out and bought a new fm and it still says it cant connect to the internet, and it still didnt give me the option of picking the other delivery method

so i dont care how many times its taken anyone else to try cus it will NEVER work for me. as far as i know ive uninstalled/deleted anything and everything to do with steam. ive had problems before when trying to install shockwave to play a game, it wouldnt install shockwave cus "i had no internet connection" and i never managed to get that sorted.

so the only way im gna get this installed is if i can find a way to get the installation to ACTUALLY GIVE ME THE OPTION of choosing the other delivery method and i have no fooking idea how im gna do that

Assembled a good squad with BVB, but because of transfer payments spread over numerous months, will be significantly into the red by Xmas. Its still Augaust, but may have to have a firesale for the good of the club :( . They were in a right state when I took them over and have done well imo :cool: , but the league could be a couple of years off still.

Hmmmm i'm not too sure what I was worrying about tbh :giggle:

Think it was just an early season panic crisis, I'm only halfway through the season but after 21 games, I have won 9, drew 7, and lost 5, which put me 6th, and it seems many people use the playoffs as the route to getting out this league - and especially with my basic team i'm quite happy with where I am so far!

Howard is scoring, McLean is 'super' sub (I'm using super sub abit loosly, he isn't that good but does get a few goals from off the bench), Fryatt isn't doing that bad but not brilliant.

Just splashed the cash. Very uncharacteristic of me, but despite inferior stats to Lewandowski all my scouts are adamant than Falcao is worth 18m and is leagues better than all my strikers. All I can say is he best fooking deliver.

Changing my 4 1 1 3 1 to accomodate him. :P

I've found a good attacking midfielder(L,R&C) I'll post his name up when I go on my game. One of my scouts picked him up. Only 16 aswell if I remember correctly.

Finally managed to get it installed, and then eventually get the updates, but now everytime I minimize FM and go back onto it, I get a screen like this:

At first the screen is completely black, then whenever I put my cursor over a certain part of the screen little parts of the game start to appear. I have to click 'an option' for the whole game to appear, e.g "ok" or "cancel" when I saw the screenie above.

WTF is wrong with this game? Even Premier League Manager 01/02 was better than this.
