billyfox1 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 1. for those who don't have setanta you should be able to watch it for free on http://www.justin.tv/directory/sports (No registration required) 2. ross-kemp is a tit (see post 53) 3. ross-kemp is a two faced tit (see post 88) 4. John Terry probably prefers champions league to internationals because they don't get booed every 10 mins in the champions league by so called supporters. 5. I agree that Joe Cole is a much better option than Downing but Downing doesn't pick the team Capello does. 6. England don't have an out and out goalscorer. The only one who even comes close is Owen and he's not in the squad so stop moaning about Rooney and Heskey. 7. I can't believe people are arguing about which would be better, England winning the world cup or City winning the FA Cup. If either of these actually happened it would probably be the best day in the lives of people born after 1966. 8. If Leicester got to an FA cup final would you really care if there were 30,000 part time supporters there? As long as I had a ticket I couldn't give a sh*t. 9. Has anyone been to a Leicester cup final without an atmosphere? 10. COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

andyh1884 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Just because we don't share opinions doesn't make us idiots does it JTB Can't we all just get along No, but saying you hope John Terry dies of aids makes you an idiot. Whether this was meant as a joke or not, it's a fairly moronic thing to say/joke about
Ross-Kemp Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 No, but saying you hope John Terry dies of aids makes you an idiot. Whether this was meant as a joke or not, it's a fairly moronic thing to say/joke about Well in all honesty, I have seen in previous threads where people have told each other to die of Aids, but no-one said anything. Why is this ?
James. Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Just because we don't share opinions doesn't make us idiots does it JTB Can't we all just get along You're right, not sharing my opinion doesn't make you an idiot. I disagree with many people on here and I don't think they're idiots. I'll leave you to think about that for awhile.

James. Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I love it on here, I love it how everyone can be all politically correct and attempt to make a mokery out of the younger posters These guys will make you feel right at home, cheerio.
Dr The Singh Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Its some no mark forum pal , It's a good forum, let's not be nasty, plus I don't think he would be welcome there either!!!
lildave3 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Anyway, James Brown, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole Barry, Lampard, Beckham/Jenas Walcott, Cole Heskey.
Dr The Singh Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Contridiction Not really, to clarify I was talking about not being nasty about Talkingballs and the bit about you not being welcome there, talkingballs generally more of a 'serious' forum and hence the type of shit posted on here wouldn't be welcome!!
Jimmy Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Anyway, James Brown, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole Beckham/Jenas, Lampard, Barry Walcott, Cole Heskey. better that way around, I like what you're idea is but in practice that system would be ultra defensive
potter3 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 better that way around, I like what you're idea is but in practice that system would be ultra defensive Not really it's a 4-3-3/4-5-1. And who says we won't need to be more defensive tonight? Croatia are better than us.
Jimmy Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Not really it's a 4-3-3/4-5-1.And who says we won't need to be more defensive tonight? Croatia are better than us. yes but you can say it's 4-3-3 all you like but in reality you know Heskey will be isolated completely and we'd be extremely unlikely to score, if you're going to start Emile he has to have a partner because on his own you can virtually guarantee he'll struggle
lildave3 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 yes but you can say it's 4-3-3 all you like but in reality you know Heskey will be isolated completely and we'd be extremely unlikely to score, if you're going to start Emile he has to have a partner because on his own you can virtually guarantee he'll struggle Well i'd imagine Walcott and Cole would support plenty enough anyway. But if that's not the case, then that's why i'd probably lean more towards Beckham than Jenas. Even though I say he shouldn't even be in the squad, he is. And we might aswell use him for the one thing he's good for. Set pieces.
Joe. Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Ah dear. Hang on Rodderz/Ross-Kemp, you say you'd want to see England win the World Cup, but you both wanted England to lose the other night against Andorra?!
Dr The Singh Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Well i'd imagine Walcott and Cole would support plenty enough anyway. But if that's not the case, then that's why i'd probably lean more towards Beckham than Jenas. Even though I say he shouldn't even be in the squad, he is. And we might aswell use him for the one thing he's good for. Set pieces. I'd like to see Bekham gone, we need to prepare for the future, younng players will take time to gel and climatise to international football. I hope we don't go out all defensive, one thing we don't seem good at is holding the ball for long periods, playing defensively will only add pressure to our fragile team!!
Flynny Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 James Johnson - Terry - Ferdinand - ColeJenas - Rooney - BarryWalcott------------------------------ColeHeskey Controversial, yes?
Uncle Albert Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 He said that he has played in champions league games more important than tonights game I'd agree that Champions League's games are more important to be honest, and why shouldnt they be? They are playing with their team-mates in the biggest footballing competition in the World. People are saying they want England to lose tonight so why are people getting so annoyed that JT has said this? Nobody can argue Terry's passion either, who else would be suited to the job?
The Stig Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 James Brown - Ferdinand - Terry - A Cole Lampard - Barry - J Cole Walcott - Heskey - Rooney
Uncle Albert Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 James Brown Ferdinand Terry A Cole Lampard Barry J Cole Walcott Heskey Rooney That would be my eleven tonight I think. Would obvioulsy prefer Beckham to Barry but... Cannot see it happening.
Asha Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Think we'll go down 2-0 tonight, although I obviously hope not. Come on lads.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I really cannot see Heskey starting tonight. I reckon he'll try and flood the midfield and go 4-5-1 with Rooney up top, so in reality a 4-6-0 cos shrek doesn't know how to stay up front. I envisage a 1-0 defeat, a draw would be extremely decent.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Tevez you put that bet on? Ferdinand 1-1. Please say you have.
RowlattsFox Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 ..................James Brown..Ferdinand..Terry...Cole ............Lampard...Barry Walcott.......Rooney..........Cole ................Heskey Hopefully by including Walcott it will prevent Pranjic bombing forward forward at every opportunity in fear of Walcotts pace on the counter attack. I think we'll miss Owen Hargeaves tonight, I think we need someone who is going to put their foot in, in the midfield and Lampard and Barry don't do that very well. We don't have any other option in centre midfield that would do that apart from maybe Jenas.
