Finnegan Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 I'm innocent! That's about the one thing you ain't.
Floating Fox Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Looks like I made the right choice not to go again.
Finnegan Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Looks like I made the right choice not to go again. Satisfy my curiosity, do you actually know what one of these is?
SamL Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Looks like I made the right choice not to go again. Despite being ill, I didn't think it was that bad.
Floating Fox Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Satisfy my curiosity, do you actually know what one of these is? I watched a football match. Just minus ****** like Daggers was talking about. We beat top of the league 2-0 and they only had 9 men left! 2 brawls and playing staff having scraps. Probably a better atmosphere too. Beer pitchside. Love it

Guest Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 That's the kind of match I want to go to next season Seeing as you are apparently not renewing, you probably can do!
Daggers Posted 1 February 2009 Author Posted 1 February 2009 Seeing as you are apparently not renewing, you probably can do! No apparently about it - I'm not renewing. I've loved this divisions away grounds, as crappy as some are they make me feel like I am at a game - not some corporate event like the fanfare playing, pre-match dining facilities, business box, "C'mon You Foxes!" modern City experience. A packaged, soulless and barren matchday that doesn't really exist for me outside of the pre & post-match drinks. The club have spent seasons twisting the truth, treating us all like idiots and then playing on our sentiments to renew our direct debits. Not me, not anymore.

So you're going to be supporting the team at home games next year? You are selling your soul not giving money to the club. I am not renewing either I don't think. Had enough, going to check out some other grounds etc.
Daggers Posted 1 February 2009 Author Posted 1 February 2009 So you're going to be supporting the team at home games next year? We'll be back in the Championship - the club do cheap tickets every other week in the Championship. I'll go on cheap ticket days but I thought I may follow a team through the JPT as it really won me over this season as being a very worthwhile competition.
Asha Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 did you hear one boy start singing, then realised he was the only one doing it and gave up mid-song? That was amusing. That sounds like me every five minutes during home games.

I concur- every away match has been great this year (I've been to six- and we've won every one, which may sway my opinion somewhat ), but it does feel like you're at a football match again.
Guest Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 No apparently about it - I'm not renewing. Well, we'll miss you.
Simi Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 This season it seems like many of the ****** that went to away games have stopped going as much as they used to, which has been a big plus for me personally. Without bringing up the no-shirts debate, which was taken completely the wrong way, I think our support this year has improved a great deal and took a lot of plaudits from the teams we've played. Next season I hope the same bunch carry on going, hopefully a few more teenage lads and lasses because we don't have enough of them at the moment for me.
Daggers Posted 1 February 2009 Author Posted 1 February 2009 Well, we'll miss you. Leicester City won't.
