Guest Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 I'll be renewing but can't decide whether to stay in the kop or not
Floating Fox Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 No apparently about it - I'm not renewing.I've loved this divisions away grounds, as crappy as some are they make me feel like I am at a game - not some corporate event like the fanfare playing, pre-match dining facilities, business box, "C'mon You Foxes!" modern City experience. A packaged, soulless and barren matchday that doesn't really exist for me outside of the pre & post-match drinks. The club have spent seasons twisting the truth, treating us all like idiots and then playing on our sentiments to renew our direct debits. Not me, not anymore. Someone has seen the light! Im going to renew mine, but i do prefer the away games. Shame you cant buy an away season ticket. Away games have been quality this season so far, whereas home games have little atmosphere (although it has improved) and the odd booing gets on my nerves Away season ticket would be impossible but saving the money of a ST and spending it on away games is virtually the same. I'll be renewing and staying put. Of course you will when your not paying for it !
SamL Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 I might as well renew while I've got the money. It'll probably SK1 for me again.
Corky Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 I'm actually thinking of moving, but I don't know where to yet.
lildave3 Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Of course you will when your not paying for it ! Well i've paid for my last 2 season tickets
syston_fox Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 I'll be renewing and staying put. More than likely the same for me!
skinnydipper Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 For me? Yes, absolutely. Use words like commanding, dominant...hell, use a term like Champions elect! We were not a class apart - we were leagues apart for the bulk of the game. The pass and move play was tear-inducing joy compared to the awful crap we've suffered over the years. It was better than Cheltenham and the King/Cleverley partnership worked brilliantly - with positional swapping becoming a fluid process across the whole of the midfield. The only downside is continual presence of Dickov. Seems a shame that after enduring five seasons of shit you might not be there next season You know that you're going to renew!
Katy Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 You're not in the kop, you're in the naughty corner aren't you? I am yes but it's still classed as the Kop apparently.
Corky Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 I think there will be a good atmosphere on Saturday- under the lights, TV cameras present, Oldham are quite good, should be a good noise around the Way (hopefully).

Bollocks.Faced with the prospect of losing my Priority 1 status...application form downloaded. Another season in L1 booked. I am shit.
lavrentis Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I'm going to get a season ticket next season for the first time in years, SK3 or SK1. Not sure yet..
Scow Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I like my seat. There's only a row of five and it's not far up the stairs. It's great to stagger up to and take my seat with ease.
Cobbo Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I like my seat. There's only a row of five and it's not far up the stairs. It's great to stagger up to and take my seat with ease. It does rock. We'll have to try and renew...been reet nomads the last few years.
Asha Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I'll definately be renewing, probably looking to move though. SK1 or L.

Webbo Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 There were a bunch of lads in front of me last night who'd sneaked in from K last night. They were either pissed or drugged up. One was jumping on his chair trying to break it, singing all the songs especially 'come on in' gesturing to the away fans and generally acting like twats. When the PA announced that Barry Hayles was coming on, the chief knobhead turns to his friends and says " who's Barry Hayles?" None of his friends knew either.
Asha Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 SK1 Was in SK1 yesterday. Little disappointed, guess the atmosphere was shit all round though.

charliefox Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 SK1 is TURD! I agree. And it's also the only place my friend will sit without going mardy. Think I'll sit on my own somewhere else from now on.
